Considering the style of moviemaking in 1986...uh...well...I don't know XD they made it completely shorter and less detailed. Other movie-books were cooler like Shawshank. Except for the fact that they took out the "OH SHIT IT'S SHIT" part. That would've been classic.

Oh yup. If they kept the Oh shit it's shit part, I think I would've bought the movie. xD
Weird though, my dad saw Stand By Me, but never saw Shawshank, and neither did my mother. o.0; I thought it would've been the other way around. So odd.

Overall I liked Stand By Me better than Shawshank but as far as entertaining to watch, I prefer Shawshank five times over. I don't think I'd buy either but would rent Shawshank.

EDIT: Oh my god, Rae, can you believe that I left my project at home? What time was it that we actually went to sleep?
