So I finally typed up descriptions and histories of my OCs...but I'm lacking references...so I'm hoping a few kind people will help me out. Below are the descriptions, and any references I might have of my OCs already...
You can draw Nova if you'd like, but since she's already an established character, her info is mainly just here for reference. :3

Hair: Long, layered silver colored hair that reaches to just under her butt or mid-thigh. Nova most often leaves her hair loose...but occasionally styles her hair when she dresses up. At times she ties it back in a ponytail or a loose braid (No bangs! at least not a lot...*sigh*)
Eye Color: Silvery Gray.
Body type: Somewhat slender, but well porportioned...one couldn't really call her flat chested
Other: Nova has a forehead jewel that is either red or blue depending on her mood/currently dominant personality. She also has a pair of elf-like ears



Personality
Because of the fact that Nova is half angel and half demon, two bloodlines that shouldn't coexist, her personality became fragmented at one point. There are 3 more 'dominant' personalities and a sort of sub-personality that doesn't show itself very often. Nova's 'angel' and 'demon' personalities are nicknamed 'Aira' and 'Kali' respectively. (Their information is found below)

Personality 1 (Nova's normal self before the split): Nova is generally cheerful, somewhat good-natured, and energetic around her friends. On occasion, however, she likes playing pranks on her friends. She does, however, have an extremely stubborn streak in her and shows her emotions very easily in her face, which means that it's hard for her to hide things from others. Fortunately for her, she usually a fairly honest girl except for when it comes to a guy she's attracted to. In that case, she almost tries to avoid them and becomes very flustered. And of course, her pride doesn't allow her to admit her feelings first. This unfortunately causes quite a few misunderstandings with potential boyfriends so Nova is, of course, single. Nova also tends to be a bit shy around new people, generally not speaking to others around spoken to. Despite this, she does tend to trust people fairly easily once befriended by another person.

Clothing: To amuse herself a bit while she is on her travels, Nova often decides to dress up for fun, so she'll wear just about anything. While she's actually traveling however, she sticks to more casual, or at least comfortable clothing. Nova does have a slight aversion to the color pink. No particular reason, she just doesn't like it much. When traveling in villages full of bounty hunters/ religious fanatics, Nova can sometimes be seen in a cloak or mantle with a hood to hide her hair and ears. (Dying her hair doesn't work for some odd reason and Nova cannot change the color of her hair. In any case her silvery eyes are weird as well, but less people notice or even care about that)

Side-notes: This is also the personality in which her powers are more dominant. She tends not to use them though. (This personality generally does not have wings...) This is also the personality that uses the rubber chicken as a weapon. (it's sorta a joke weapon) Nova is completely unaware of her 3rd persona, but knows of her 2nd one as a voice inside her head. She can also be quite clumsy when flustered. Nova also has a strange ability to change her gender.

Male Nova: Male Nova: During Nova's development of her powers, she had a phase where she would become male when she sneezed when she was probably around 15). As turning into the opposite gender at all sorts of weird times can be somewhat horifying for a teenage girl, Nova learned to control her shapeshifting powers somewhat and became able to control the change. For the most part, this personality is a sort of sub-personality as Nova is completely aware of the times that she is male. However, as a male, Nova is a lot calmer, and definitely a lot less clumsy and more able to hide his feelings from showing on his face. He does however, like the occasional prank and had quite a few laughs from hitting on a few female friends for fun (or even the male ones). To deal with the long hair, male Nova keeps it in a loose ponytail or a braid. Clothing is very casual, usually a long sleeved button up shirt and pants. Looks about 20
Male Nova's Height: 6'
Body type: Slender, toned (he's kind of a pretty boy, since he's originally female, but does not actually look feminine)
Sidenote: When Nova is male, he has very few powers, and uses a sword as a weapon instead of a naginata. Generally, he doesn't have wings.

History
Nova is the offspring of the demon prince, Asura, and the only female angel, Aerith. Unfortunately, because of certain circumstances and interference from other people, she was unable to be raised by her parents, who were forcibly separated. She would have been killed if she had been discovered by Michael when her parents were found, but was saved by Sakuya (Aerith's servant/guardian.) Sakuya, however, was unable to do much for Nova, leaving her in a human village under the care of Youko, a human woman, and her boyfriend Biyan, a water fairy. Because she shared enough similarities with Biyan, (who had elfish ears and a forehead jewel) Nova was somewhat accepted by the villagers as the child of the strangely paired couple, and is raised for the first 12 years of her life without too much trouble. However, when Biyan leaves Youko for a Fire sprite, it is revealed that Nova is not Biyan's child. The village, being a human village, became unsettled at the presence of a child with strange features and unknown origin. As the uneasiness towards Nova's origin increases, the village becomes determined to kill both mother and child. Youko, who loved Nova as a real daughter, quickly packs Nova's things and sends Nova out of the village promising her that she will follow after. Nova obediently obeys her mother and escapes the village safely, but Youko who stays behind, is captured and executed (She actually had no intention of following Nova, but intended to stay as a decoy while Nova escaped) Nova learns about her mother's death about a month later, and wanders from village to village aimlessly. Half a year later, she meets a shapeshifting demon by the name of Raven, who, recognizing her as an orphaned demon, decides to take her in on a whim. (Raven is the one who teaches her to control her powers) However, when Nova is 16, Nova's life is once again disrupted by a series of events, which leads to the fragmentation of her personality. When Nova's personality first fragments, Raven learns of Nova's angel blood, and Nova is once again left without a home. Since then, she's been traveling from village to village, never staying in one place long. (She's not very well recieved in most small villages)

'Kali' and 'Aira'
Kali and Aira are fragments of Nova's mind and soul. They are however, still parts of Nova in the end and share most of the same physical characteristics as Nova. They do, however, appear more mature than Nova. When fragmentation first occurred, Nova was actually separated into 3 separate physical entities. Kali, Aira, and a Nova whose memories had been wiped clean (innocent and almost childlike). Not lacking in feeling towards Nova, Raven does help 'piece' Nova back together into one physical being, which ultimately prevents Nova's death, but is unable to do anything about the split of Nova's mind. NOTE: Kali and Aira are simply MY nicknames for them. To the other characters involved with her, ALL personalities are still 'Nova' (none of the others actually call them Kali and Aira)

'Kali': Originally arising as a cynical voice in Nova's head, Kali is basically selfish, manipulative, and almost 'bitchy'. She is also extremely possessive of the men she?s attracted to, and sometimes tries to seduce them. (She never actually does anything with them though kind of leaves them hanging...she's more of a tease, really) Kali generally wears her hair loose, and between the two opposing personalities of "good" and "evil", this one shows up a lot more. Unlike Nova and Aira, Kali is completely aware of the other two, and despises both Nova and Aira. (She dislikes Aira for obvious reasons being a demon, but dislikes Nova because she thinks she?s weak) Kali is a much stronger sort of personality than Aira and Nova and generally has an air of great self-confidence about her. For this reason, she tends to appear a little older than Nova.


Clothing/Appearance: This personality is usually characterized by a red forehead jewel and large bat-like wings. Kali tends to wear very sexy and revealing clothing, with a tendency towards darker colors. (like more cleavage, midriff baring stuff, etc.)

Character note: If Kali gets in a fight, she uses daggers, and fairly violent wind-based abilities. She also doesn't avoid confrontation in the same way Nova and Aira do. In a certain way, she's like her father in the sense that she almost enjoys fighting, and actually baits her opponent if she sees that they?re angry. Still, Kali doesn't actually get into too many fights.

'Aira': Aira is kind of a balancing personality for Nova. She doesn't have as strong a personality as Kali, but is distinct from Nova in her own way. Aira tends to be fairly calm and quiet, and is usually found by lakes or forested areas simply enjoying the scenery. Aira is not particularly interested in men, and is never seen interacting romantically with a man. Aira has sort of a protective aura about her, which is very much like that of a kind mother figure. Aira knows very well that she is a part of Nova, but is not so much aware of Kali's existence, although she sometimes seems to let on that she is aware of Kali. Aira is rarely seen by any of the characters surrounding Nova, and the few times that she interacts with the other characters, she always speaks kindly and almost fondly of Nova. In a certain sense, Aira exists to protect Nova (mostly from being taken over completely by Kali). Aira is also more mature than Nova, with a greater understanding of her surroundings than Nova.

Clothing/Appearance: This personalty is characterized by a light blue forehead jewel and a pair of white feathery wings Her hair is usually tied up or half loose...sometimes braided with ribbons. This personality does not interact with any of the other personalities, and is completely unaware of the other two personalities. She tends to like lighter, more cheerful colors and dresses of the long flowing variety...including those of thin gauzy materials.

Character notes: Aira is first and foremost a pacifist. She doesn't fight at all, and has never been placed in a situation in which she has had to. (She isn?t usually around people and for the most part has only appeared in front of the other characters a few times.) Despite her lack of interaction with others, Aira has a profound understanding of the relationships that Nova has with others, and bears the greatest insight into Nova's personality.

Personality
Personality-wise, Aerith is not a strong character, having lived a life of captivity. She has an overprotective older brother, Michael, who watches her like a hawk ever since Nova was born. She has only left heaven a few times, and only before Nova was born. Because of this, she can be naïve, and ultimately very innocent before Nova’s birth. After Nova’s birth, however, she is often left singing in Eden (her cage) and often looks sad, although she still retains her doll-like beauty.

History
Aerith is the ONLY female in a class of true angels. She is also the youngest, and is therefore extremely overprotected by her brothers. She therefore, was never able to leave and enter heaven as she pleased, and was given an attendant, Sakuya to watch over her. She does however, manage to sneak outside of heaven and winds up in a forest on earth, where she happens to meet Asura while she is relaxing. The two of them somehow fall in love, run away, and end up having a child, Nova. However, shortly after Nova is born, the two of them are discovered. Fearing for Nova’s life, Aerith entrusts her infant to Sakuya, begging her to keep Nova safe. Asura and Aerith are captured, and forced to part, and Aerith, being so very loved by all the angels, was not sentenced to death, but confined to a special prison, Eden.

Personality
Asura is, to put it simply, a troublemaker. He enjoys sneaking off to the human world and starting fights in bars and fooling around with women. He is very much a playboy, and almost always has a smirk on his face. He is a fairly wild persona who does whatever he wishes, a result of an overindulgent father who does not discipline his children. He does however, hold Aerith in a special place in his heart, and while he was with Aerith, never cheated on her once. He smiles genuinely when he is with Aerith, and is very gentle with her for some reason.

History
Asura is a demon prince, who upon a certain visit to the human world, starts a brawl in a bar and is kicked out. Heaving nothing better to do, he walks towards a nearby forest, only to hear singing. Intrigued by this, he follows the sound and is astonished to find Aerith there. Entranced by her beauty and powerful singing voice, he falls in love with her at first site, and manages to woo the astonished Aerith. The two of them, later realizing what the other was, decide to flee together and protect their love. However, after almost a year of living together disguised as humans, they are tracked down by Michael. The two are then separated, and doomed never to meet again. After the separation, Asura travels the world looking for his lost lover.

Other relationships
With Nova: Asura is Nova's biological father. The two of them do happen to meet on their travels, but only briefly. Asura happens to sit next to Nova at a tavern, and upon seeing her face briefly, mistakes her for Aerith, and grabs her to get a better look. He then realizes his mistake, and in his dissapointment, lets her go. It does not occur to him that she is his lost daughter...

With Raven: Asura and Raven are childhood friends. Whether they were anything more than that remains unclear, although it seems more likely that they were nothing more than friends. When this pair is seen together, they make a VERY sexy couple. However, they rarely go out together and most of their visits with each other happen in private. Asura visits Raven occasionally from time to time, but somehow either never found Nova there...or didn't think she was his daughter. (As far as he knows, Nova is living out her life in peace)

Personality
Raven is the calm, calculating type with a fairly secretive side. Very little is known about her, and she spends the majority of her time in the human world. To her, Nova is not so much a daughter, as a 'pet'.

History
Most of Raven's past is unknown. What IS known though, is that she is the childhood friend of Asura. She does not however, know that Nova is Asura's child. Nova was brought to her by an aquaintance of hers who found Nova after she'd been bullied by some village children. Raven was asked to take care of Nova temporarily, which she reluctantly accepts. However, after keeping Nova for a while, she grows fond of her and "adopts" Nova. However, her interactions with Nova are more like an owner and her pet... Later on, it becomes apparent that Michael is out to kill Nova for some reason, and not wanting to be involved in the affairs of angels, as well as to protect Nova, Raven asks Nova to leave shortly before Michael arrives in her home. When asked about Nova's whereabouts, Raven simply replies, "Ah! I think I had a pet like that a few weeks ago. I loved her a lot, but she seems to have run away from home."

Michael is probably one of the worst characters in the story. He’s jealous, vindictive, stubborn, overly jealous, and hotheaded with a huge sister complex. He’s probably the worst character to place as the angel of justice, but nevertheless, that’s his job. Michael is the one who locked Aerith in Eden, and since learning of Nova’s existence, he has ordered her immediate elimination. To Michael’s great anger, however, they’ve yet to catch Nova…

Sakuya is Aerith's loyal servant, assigned to watch over her since her creation. She loves Aerith dearly and will follow her every wish. Her desire is Aerith's happiness.

History
Sakuya has been with Aerith since her childhood, gently watching over her with a kind eye. She is later begged by Aerith to save Nova, and does so by purposefully leaving Nova for Youko to find. She then spends her time secretly watching over Nova and occasionally reporting to Aerith in secret. Sakuya was never punished for allowing Aerith and Asura to be together, as she was created be loyal to Aerith only.

Other: Youko should be a fairly plain looking woman, though she has very pretty eyes

Personality
Youko is a very kind woman who finds Nova as an infant. Being unable to have children of her own, she decides to raise Nova as her daughter. She therefore thinks of Nova as her very own, and does everything in her power to protect Nova. Youko is a very warm, cheerful woman, who loves to cook and play, providing Nova with a warm home for the first part of her life. She lives a comfortable life partially secluded from the villagers on the outskirts of the village.

History
Youko is on her way back from the market one day when she hears the wailing of a child from the bushes. Knowing that nobody lives near the path, she goes to take a look and finds an abandoned infant, Nova. Carrying the small child home, she discusses with Biyan what they should do. While they are discussing, Nova, who has stopped crying, manages to grab onto Youko's finger, and tug on it. Pausing in her discussion with Biyan, Youko looks into the infant's large, innocent eyes, and falls in love with the child. She decides to raise the child, and although Biyan seems reluctant, he agrees to help her. Youko manages to raise Nova for 10 years before Michael catches wind of her. The villagers, who have been told that Nova is a demon child who will bring destruction to their village, form an angry mob and parade themselves to Youko's house with their weapons. Being forewarned by a friend that a mob was coming for her child, she quickly bundles Nova up with a few belongings and tells her to run. Pushing Nova out the back door while telling her she'll come find her later, she closes the door on Nova and faces the angry mob, which has surrounded her. Youko, who loves Nova fiercely, refuses to say where Nova has gone, and is captured and later tortured to death by Michael.

Personality
Biyan is silent for the majority of his appearances in the story. He is basically a faerie who fell in love with the warm, loving Youko. However, his demeanor often seems aloof and uncaring, as he never seems to smile or show emotion. Whether or not he cares for Nova is never known, although he does teach her how to wield a naginata.

History
Biyan is, Youko's lover. He lives with Youko and Nova on the outskirts of the village for 10 years. However, one day, he is bewitched by a fire sprite and leaves Youko for the sprite, exposing accidently in the process that Nova is not his daughter, which ultimately results in an angry mob wanting to destroy Nova. The ensuing story can be found under Youko's history above.

Lilith is Layla's servant, who was sent to watch Asura. She's a bit clumsy and a bit of a screwup but Layla keeps her around for some reason. She's also stubborn and pigheaded, but is unusually loyal to Layla.
