Ah, yeah, I guess it's different if you are emotionally invested in one of the doctors. I've dodged that bullet. But admittedly I don't get around to watching it that often.

(It was funny because in 'Death of the Doctor' Jo Jones and Sarah Jane Smith made 'Smith and Jones', as did Martha and the Doctor)

Yeah, same. I went to start over at Season 1, but I could only watch one episode, then I just skipped to episode 1 of season 2. >> Much more fun. I'm going to go back and watch Season 1 soon, just... I need some preparation for it.

I think maybe the writers are just really terrible at coming up with surnames.

Yeah... I'm emotionally involved, but not in the same way. Doctor Who is kind of an escape for me, so I need it to be happy and fun with an awesome happy fun guy, not a broody moody guy. I've got enough broody moody on my own, I don't need more. :gonk:

Hmm... Forgot David Tennant was Scottish. Just heard him speak "normally."

I, uh, take back what I said before. :ninja:

Scottish accents are a bit of a weakness of mine. :ninja:

I'm actually Scottish. I've never been to Scotland, I mean, I'm American, but my grandmother is from Scotland. I think I just need to take my boyfriend to Scotland for a while and hope he'll pick up a bit of an accent. Then all will be well and I won't be distracted by David Tennant. :ninja: Must remind myself that Tennant is only a few years younger than my parents.

It sounds weird to me. Simply put, I keep forgetting that he's a Scot because he rarely speaks in his native accent!

Zea - I would not have guessed that you're 12. Well, congratulations, you come off as much more intelligent than I was at that age.

Taiyo - Are you ginger? I'm not, really, but I have kind of reddish hair. My whole family is red haired though, which isn't fair, so I dye my hair red. Which basically means I get all the gingerness without the blasted freckles, so it's all good.

I thought you typo'd the numbers in the wrong order or something. :ninja: I was 14 when the new Doctor Who started and that's the age I kept referring to when I say it went over my head...

@ zea: And Will Turner. And I actually thought you were my age....(is a college Freshman)

@ Cherry: Nope, not ginger. I got the freckles though!
I'm only part Scottish anyway. The rest is Welsh, Black Norse, Pennsylvania Dutch, English, and German--that's all on my dad's side. My mom's full-blown German.

@ zea: I actually hated it. Try feeling like you've got the mind of an adult between 25 and 30, with the body--thus the raging hormones--of a teenager. That's me.

I think I'm pretty mature for my age but I also look older than I am so that tends to make people take me seriously... When I'm not being an immature five year old  (one of my most recent roleplays with my real life friends ended with it raining grapes and everyone riding dinosaurs, shooting each other with water pistols and flame throwers...)

Yep. That's how you know you're a 12-year-old.

But honestly, I didn't get to act much like a kid. Ten years of having to be the adult takes it's toll on your mental maturity....My mind matured faster than my body, which wasn't fun...
