Oh dear. No, she is definitely not from NY. We got her as a little baby (only about 4-6 weeks old) from a farm store out here in California. That's absolutely terrible! How depressing! What a sad, sad thing to happen.

Haha. Well, she prefers my parents California King bed over my tiny twin bed. She also seemed to have held a grudge against me ever since I left for college, so she only sleeps with me if my parents are gone and she's really lonely. She came in once when we slept in the twin bed and got so frustrated about there not being room for her that she left. She doesn't like sleeping on top of people too much. She prefers laying on the bed next to you or at your feet, and sometimes on your chest for a little bit, but I think it makes her too warm.

Hahaha Oh I bet!! They definitely don't let you forget you made them angry!

Right?? Artemis and Luna were the last two kittens left besides that one, and had it not been a Siamese build I would have 3 cats right now. I tried to convince Mom and although she really wanted to she couldn't deal with the Siamese build. Luna and Artemis take after their dad in build while the other one took after the Mom. Luckily it seemed to be okay, but still. I always think about it randomly and hope it got out of the house and ran and out way and was taken in by a nice person. :(

Ahhh yeah it could be too warm, especially in summer. Luna gets angry when I go on doctor trips to VT or downstate so I can relate!! We usually stay overnight and when I come back she ignores me, then glares at me, then bites or hits me, then throws things off of counters/dressers/desks etc, then curls up next to me and wipes her nose all over me to put her scent back on me. Love her to death, but no. Just no. I'd rather her hold a grudge a little longer. It's not fun coming back home to that when you just want to sleep!! XD

My Mom really doesn't like Siamese cats - they creep her out for some reason - I think she had a bad experience with one as a kid but I honestly don't remember anymore - but because it looked like the Siamese build and didn't have much of the other cat's build in it we couldn't take that one home - the two kitties I have have very little Siamese in them - you can only catch glimpses of it in certain looks/light :3 Had it looked less like the Mom we probably would have taken it home too. Mom almost did given the circumstances but she just couldn't do it even after about 10 minutes of trying to talk herself into it. I was in like, 8th or 9th grade at the time :3
