Yeah - you can either pay to watch instant viewing (which is sort of like watching what's on TV), or you can pay to have DVDs sent to you, or you can pay to have both :3

What is the difference than with cable tv?

The difference is is that it has a lot of old movies and shows that aren't airing on TV, and you can watch whatever you want whenever you want as long as it's on Instant Viewing. If I wanted to watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians all the way from Season 1 (which is from 2007), I can because I pay for instant viewing - I could watch it all in a day if I wanted to - there's no limits :3
It's a very convenient service to have - plus it's only $8 a month to have it :3
And it's very current - a show Once Upon A Time just came out to DVD, and immediately it was on Instant Viewing. And generally, TV series are up on Instant Viewing a few days after the Season Finale ended on TV :3

Some things are for DVD only - and it depends on your country I guess what the quality of Netflix is - I know someone in Canada who's Netflix service is sooo behind what mine is - so you never really know what your Netflix has until you get into it - but there's no contracts or anything, and you get a free 7 day trial - or at least I did :3

Lol Yeah - I'm sick of commercials to be honest - they're too repetitive - that's why I pay for recording service with my satellite service - then I can record what shows I want when I'm not watching TV and fast forward through commercials - I love it <3

Yes of course :3
Especially shows that are now airing. For example, New Girl just started up again for the season - these new episodes will not be on Netflix until after the season is over. Same with Once Upon A Time - it starts tonight at 8pm - these new episodes won't be on Netflix until the season ends :3

Not really - it simply takes away from the network if you're watching the new episodes on Netflix. They have no way of tracking viewership on a season (which determines if a series has another season or not) if it's on Neftlix. If it's on their network or on their website, then they can track it. That's really why lol
I mean, you can mute commercials and not watch them, or if you have recording capability on your satellite then you can fast forward through them. They don't care one wit about whether you watch commercials or not, they're going to get paid regardless for the airtime the advertisers are paying for :3

Obviously, regardless you want to watch or not, it is still taking time in between.
Which is why I download shows which is commercial free from the beginning.

Recording, mine need to upgrade to another package that is more expensive.
and not even my cable tv is providing programme I like. *glare*
their subtitle are not done good as well.

Save a lot of those teensy trouble to ignore the commercial.
I want to sit back, watch and eat my snacks without bothering to keep clicking the buttons.
