Well since the first one was back in the Easter forum (which is currently non-existant), I figured I wanted to have another hangout thread here.

The problem is I can't remember if I made one previously...there's Shopaholics Anonymous (which *ahem* people had all but abandoned...RAWR on you guys) and of course there's my old, old welcome thread.

Cosplay, fashion design & being a computer geek XD Right now my teacher's asking us what we got for our moms for Mother's Day. Eh, I didn't really buy anything but my dad bought a new stereo system for her. I was like "noooo you did NOT buy that!" But he did ^.^

I'm cleaning m mom's house for Mothers Day.

Ah I see. Yeah I was just planning to buy her a bouquet of flowers because with the only cash I have right now, there's no way I'm taking my mom out. Anyway she's rather picky about Mother's Day. She's the kind of mom that says she doesn't want anything, then afterwards complains that she didn't get anything for Mother's Day then I went crazy afterwards. But I love her ^-^

Give her peace and quiet and a nice breakfast in bed and she'll be good.

No problem then! It's fun making pancakes so I should be set. Don't know if Dad's taking out Mom though since he's coming back to visit on Friday or Saturday. Eh, maybe they will but I'm not too sure. Sunday we'll more than likely be going to church.

As long as she gets peace and quiet, I'm sure she'll be happy.

I graduated a year early from High School.
I am currently working two jobs. I've got a day off today.

Aww you're lucky. I'm still a senior but I don't have a job. Will be getting one after graduation so I don't have to stress about my studies + work. But yeah...SO broke.

Ah I see. Yeah I didn't want to work in the food industry (which is pretty much the only option available to most high school students) and I'd much rather work at Barnes & Noble. I don't eat fast food that much anymore but when I do I don't act mean to the cashier. If it's in not-so-usual quality that I'm used to, I don't complain & say anything, you know? It really is hard to deal with people so I'm pretty understanding when I try. Plus, even if I try cooking fries at home they end up soggy, so yeah. Not for me.

Then you're pretty set for taking care of yourself for life. As for me, I'm scared of cooking. There was an incident when I was 8 years old and my older cousin was cooking breakfast for the family.

The frying pan got too hot and when she added the oil it burst into flames and we all started freaking out. She didn't set the house on fire though.
