I have a question regarding what would be counted as spam... I'd like to make a thread requesting art freebies of my current avatar, though I'd like to make it here because it's a winter-themed avatar and everyone is here in these forums anyways.

To make it more winter-themed, I'd like to ask for free winter-themed art. Would this be alright for me to do? Or do I have to make my winter art request thread in the art request forum?

It could be her connection speed with the amount of people online. I know it wasn't working for me earlier to open the gifts on my brothers computer and internet during the high speed hours ^^;

We were discussing this in the multicolour team thread, and I wasn't sure if someone's already asked, but is it okay to switch teams in the middle of the event? Like, the FAQs don't say no, and the teams page have a 'if you want to for whatever reason you can'. :?

I do not see why you would want to change teams in the middle of the event for.
But i do not think that you can.

Browsers o.o....

Firefox and IE both work fine with them, and they are the larger browsers from what i've seen.

If you have one of the other browsers (Opera, Google Chrome, Safari, etc) then it might have something to do with the browser.... or the beta version of one of the two browsers that work.... I know the beta of firefox has some issues with hotmail.....

What browser was Menewsha focused off of?

You CAN switch teams

From the team picking page- "If you ever decide to switch teams, simply return to this page and select the team you want to join."

Just gotta keep in mind, if the team you wanna join is way too large, you won't be able to, and you'll have to keep trying.



Menewsha was originally made to fit Firefox.
If it's changed over the system switches, I don't know.

Yellow star isn't winning at the moment, but i'm going to stay with them until the end.

They should have locked the team change so you cannot change after the first.... three days or so.... That way if there is a big prize for the winning team at the end.... Then people in the losing team couldn't pounce when the time was right o.o

I am bit confused ~ I seem to be on Team Bah-Humbug, but I do not remember picking this team. Are team assignments randomized? How would I be able to change teams, if I choose to?

Salvete- Team Bah-Humbug is just for people who didn't chose any team to be on. You didn't choses it really, you were just put with others who didn't pick a team.

If you want to pick a team now, click the team badge under any person avatar (like the Team evergreen badge under my purple avatar). That takes you to the team chosing page, and you can choose there.

I'd like to know which of the items in the shops are unisex so I don't make the mistake of buying anything that isn't... and when I say unisex I don't mean just thrown into the shop for the other gender without being pixelled fo rthem, I mean the items that were made the same for both bases, except shaped differently to fit.

Feel free to change teams if you like. As long as that's available, it's perfectly fine to do so.

But if you're doing it to be on the winning team, don't assume that the team that has donated the most numbers of yarn balls is actually the team that is winning. (Last time I got a stats update from Insomniac, team Evergreen was not the winner of the game at that point.)

Re: Unisex items
Just look in the shop preview, Poet. I think the only shirt items I'd seen that are unisexed straight from the male base an enabled to fit on a female base are the Elf Shirts. Well, the jacket I'm wearing (the smoking jacket) is too, but it looks perfectly fine on a female avatar.

ouh. that's interesting :O so what determines the "winning team" currently?

and i thought the point of the team thing was working together for donating thing? :O so what's the point in doing that if most team that donates doesn't win? i'm really curious, that's all ^^;

Yep. The event ends on the 3rd of January, 2009. So that would be about a little more than four days from now. :yes:

I just noticed in one of the threads I made, I'm not getting .05 when others post, however when I post I get .25
