Pitbulls are banned here too. It's too bad because they can be beautiful dogs if raised correctly.

I don't understand why pit bulls are banned. They are harmless. It's the bad people who raise them who make them that way. :( the shih tzu is Bailey and the mix is Miley. Miley has the body and face of a pitbull, but is the size of a shih tzu. :P

Where I live they are banned because one killed? hurt? a little kid. I don't remember the exact story. Was probably the owner's fault for letting it get aggressive.

Here government put a rule that no dogs should be killed (because Buddhists started saying that we shouldn;t hurt the animals), but the government didn't put any injections or anything to the dogs.. and now they have increased in number that many fear to go during the nights due to the increase in stray dogs every where. Meat shops, street, under the vehicles, you find them everywhere. They can even be rabies, seriously! But no one cares >.<
