A lot of people mistake precision and bluntness for anger or rudeness. I just don't believe in niceties. :U

What? I was merely explaining how I understand certain scenario and Asian parents just kept saying I am stubborn and argue for argue sake. I just want to know the reason of other people's opinion that is so correct in their opinion.
Can't they come up with a better argument? Shut me up with some logic instead of just. 'Don't be stubborn.'

Wiwi, I am not denying I am hot tempered.
I am merely felt misjudged when the particular time frame I am NOT hot tempered and people feel I am.
As in, they are accusing me of 'things' that is not true. I don't mind them saying I am hot temper IF that time I am indeed is shouting and yelling and is hot temper.

I know it is hard to tell what people really feels like inside, not to be judge just by the outside.
besides, each people definition of attitude is different.

I know what you mean.

For example, people on the continental US is very aggressive and they are blunt and to the point. But if you are like that in Hawaii, they will say you are rude and mean. people here like to sugar coat things. and don't tell you directly.

it's the same thing as what you're saying. I think they are blowing everything out of proportion when you ask a question and saying you are being hot tempered when you are not. it is just the people that you talk to that is not used to being questioned back or even questioned at all.

Typical Asian teachings, don't ever question your superiors.
They want people to just obey, and not ask question. Just like soldiers.
I think even in western, the soldiers are taught to obey orders without questioning.

I tend to be brutally honest. Some people just think its funny when I get angry if my voice goes up ^ then they just pass it off as squeakiness and etc. Cant tell if Im actually being spiteful or angry. When my voice gets low, then they realize it. lol

My voice cracks if im upset as in close to tears, when im angry i don't talk, i just shut down and ignore the person ticking me off or become painfully polite..
