Hubby is back at work and I got offered my job back there too. I start back in a couple weeks. Yay! I also got offered another job by someone at church so if this doesn't work out she said let her know because she starts hiring in April for that. Seasonal work; one of the wonders of a tourist town. I'm hoping I can get by on this job long enough to take the CNA exam and then maybe I can work in the same place Hubby does doing that. Then Hubby and I might be able to have more hours the same. We'll see what happens.

Yeah... And we're getting a blizzard now too so we had to move everything out of that room this weekend. Last time it ended up collapsing so we decided it's better to jump ship now before all that snow starts melting. V_V

Well if it collapses you should have less trouble making the landlord fix it I guess. At least you got your stuff out before it gets worse. O_o'

It's been in the 60's or so here for the past few days. O_o' I didn't know it was snowing elsewhere. It only snows here about once a year and then not much. People lose their minds when it happens though. It's like they forget that it happens almost every year and the idea of it snowing here is utterly foreign to them. Not to mention the county is never prepared enough with salt for the roads and such. That leads to a lot of accidents because some people have no idea how to drive on icy roads and because people who are really used to ice aren't cautious enough because they are used to living in places that have much better road prep for the weather. That usually happens in Feb. or so. Not sure about this year. We've had a super mild winter so far. Thank the Lord.

Nope. It collapsed last time and yet it still took them six months to fix it. The one thing we did leave was the book shelf because we just don't have anywhere else to put it. I put a bunch of garbage bags over it though so hopefully things will be okay.

I'm praying that I'll be able to get home okay. They are talking about closing down the subways and such and if they do that I'll be stuck. They keep saying people should go home early but I'm sort of at the mercy of my employer and since our office manager never takes anything seriously... V_V

Managed to get home okay last night though things were getting a bit iffy. The subway was closed this morning so I've been working from home. It's nice to be able to work in my PJs for once, LOL! Tomorrow things will be back to the normal commute though.

And yeah, he's so not helpful. He acts like he's so nice and then doesn't do anything and then acts all hurt when I tell him that I'm frustrated that nothing is happening like I'm such a jerk for wanting to have a habitable apartment to live in. It's going to be a real mess when all this snow starts melting...

*huggles* I live! Sorry I've been AWOL. I stayed home all last week because I had no real reason to go out since I wasn't working. This week I am back at work, so yeah for paycheck! lol.

I'm sick now, bleh. My system was fighting it for a long time but finally lost. Sore throat and sniffles and the works.

The roof hasn't collapsed yet but the plaster is coming down and it's leaking on and off in various places.

I have been without proper internet this week and it looks like I may fail epically at getting this event's EIs. It is most distressing. I only have fifteen chips and I only have a couple hours at the library before work. Then I will have no time tomorrow because I'm working a double shift. *headdesk*

Yeah, I wasn't able to call in sick on Friday either, oh well. I'm mostly better now but still coughing up phlegm from time to time.

Unfortunately I can't really help you out this event. I haven't really been posting much at all so I haven't even gotten a set for myself. V_V

Epic fail on getting the rest of the EIs for myself. Work was crazy. A pipe broke and one of the hallways flodded, which set off the fire alarm, which then continued to go off for almost three hours. Flashing lights and a persistant ding every few seconds. Not fun.In the mess I totally forgot about the event and by the time I got home it was.over.
