What is the most dangerous or scary thing you have tried, Bearzy? if you do not mind my asking ^_^ also, I keep forgetting that this is your memory jar, but I have been kind of treating it more like a hangout to chat with Bearzy type of thread ^_^; hope you don't mind that!

I don't mind at all
And I think the scariest thing I have done is when I was about sixteen I worked at a summer camp and some of my campers were struggling to climb the climbing tower, just being nervous and such, so I told them "if you get to the top I will climb the tower and I cried last time I tried that" so naturally, every single kid made it to the top, so I had to climb it. It was not a fun time for me, but the kids were stoked.

Awww haha anything for the kids I guess? but good for them and good for you especially! Were you more afraid of the climbing itself or the height that you had to get to? or just the general feeling of being under pressure with so many young onlookers?

The general feeling of helplessness. I hate the height, I hate the harness, and I hate the act of climbing because I am incredibly unfit, and have quite a hard time lifting my body weight in that way.

Oh and hey, interesting update to my reading challenge. As of yesterday I have now read 5 books in 2016.
- The Shepherd's Crown by Terry Pratchett
- Casino Royale by Ian Fleming
- The 39 Steps by John Buchan
- The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
- The Book of Fame by Lloyd Jones

Aw I am sorry to hear that. Oohh that is awesome that you have read five books so far! I still have not been able to get through one, although admittedly I am reading a textbook right now so I guess it is harder than reading a novel

I've only read so many because I have been internet deprived probably. Also, a lot of these are quite short. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde I think I read in one sitting?

*nods* Yes I remember reading that book many years ago, and it being relatively short. How come you have been internet deprived?

Haha, it is our first snowfall of the year, and it is huge! And meanwhile back in December, we were enjoying springtime weather.

I actually just moved to a city where it does actually snow in winter, so I'm not looking forward to that. I miss my temperate climate

Haha, I love that you called it wibbly hand and I knew exactly what motion you meant without ever having heard that phrase before :)

It's just the hand that accompanies the sound "ehh" in most english speaking countries I think.

A new month means the front page has been updated! Also, there is a fairly good chance that from the second to the seventh I won't be updating because I will be on holiday and therefore not near my laptop. But I'll update that in retrospect on the eighth when I get home.
