To post an image in a thread you first need to upload it to an image hosting site, such as www.Photobucket.com or www.Imageshack.com.

Once you've uploaded your image to the hosting site they will give you a code in a choice of formats so you can copy/paste the image where you want.

To post it on Menewsha you will want the option that uses the [IMG] tags.

Alternatively you can use the direct link for layouts option in conjunction with the insert image button in the post window. If you use this method be sure to delete the http:// that shows up in the insert image pop up before you paste your code in there.

This is for posting the plain jpg.code and the method used for "hotlinking" which is linking to the image directly from the website it is displayed on instead of saving and uploading it yourself. This is frowned upon in general because it uses up the host site's bandwidth so wherever possible save an image onto your own computer then upload it yourself.
