.Vincent Van Trophe
.Age unknown
.Vampire
.Bio:

Vincent was born a vampire, as both of his parents had been turned before they had conceived him. Being Lord and Lady of the town, they had raised Vincent to keep his secret hidden, as being a vampire often led to one's demise. For years, his family kept their vampiracy a secret until it had been spoiled when Vincent's Lady Mother was caught drinking the blood of a man she had killed. She was put to death along with Vincent's father who confessed he was also a vampire. They both lied and explained that they'd been turned before they conceived and Vincent was left alive. Raised in the mansion on his own, he kept his secret for many years, only going out for blood in disguise and never leaving at the same time every night.

Cold. It was a cold night and there was fog in the streets. Vincent knew he had to move quickly if he wanted to find a victim and get the act over with before anyone noticed. He slid through the shadows, avoiding some of the random, drunken strangers of town that were laughing loudly as they stood outside of the local tavern. Drinks in their hands and hats on their heads as they threw their heads back and heartily laughed, their rosy cheeks seeming even brighter in the light of the tavern.

Vincent could pick off one of these drunk fools, but he decided against it. There were too many witnesses and even if they were drunk and no one believed them, the town was still very suspicious of vampire activity. He couldn't risk having those suspicions thrown on him, not after having been lord of this land for so long. Not much was known about him and he preferred it to stay that way.

He pulled his hood over his head and slunk back into the shadows of the trees, on the prowl looking for another victim. The streets were dark aside from the occasional lights that flickered in some random cottages along the countryside. He'd heard from last week's "hunt" that there was a new family that moved in recently. They had a girl, young, beautiful. Something about the young, beautiful girls tended to make them taste so much better. He didn't have time to wander about through the homes to figure out which one was the one she was in. No, he'd have to settle for something quick.

There was a gentle sound that his sensitive ears picked up behind him. He turned quickly, eyes wide, but found that it was just an old man bringing a mule to the stables. Yes... This one would have to do.

He quickly grabbed the man, silenced him and drank him. Then, he disposed of the body in the river that crossed under the bridge that connected his mansion to the rest of the town. Wiping his bloodied face, Vincent quickly made his way across the bridge and back to his ancient home. He was certain there'd be news tomorrow of the old man's disappearance, and as usual, he'd have nothing to do with it.
