Maeve nodded.
"I'll see what I can do," she said. With that, she turned and headed towards the elevator.

Pepper nodded and let her go, going to talk to Tony briefly before going back to work. She figured Tony would get over it on his own.

Maeve did just as she said: she locked herself in the TM lab and tried to TM Signal Beam. And she really wanted it to work; if it did, she could teach it to Kirlia. But she had no intention of coming out of the lab before the end of the day.

Julie ended up working with Bruce in his lab all day, first working on the diagrams, then on other sort of maybe work related things. So she was in a good mood when she finally got off for the day and went to go check on Maeve.

Bruce was in a good mood, too, better than he had been in a while. He was even sort of looking forward to Tony's habitual visit.
Maeve had gone from trying to make the new TM to just sorting through a new box of them from one of the other labs. It gave her something to do, at least.

Tony meandered over to the Green Lab to see how Bruce was doing. He'd even worked himself out of his funk.
Julie knocked on the doorframe, peeking in at Maeve and grinning. "Come on, time to go."

"Finally," Maeve murmured. Putting away the last of the TMs, she broke down the box and then grabbed her things.
Bruce was going through his notes when he heard the door open. "Hello, Tony."

Julie blinked when she noticed how hurried Maeve seemed. "Everything okay?" she asked, frowning a little.
"You look awfully cheery for someone who supposedly had a very boring workload today," Tony said suspiciously before he brightened considerably. "What have you gotten into? Have you finally learned how to prank people? Was it Clint? Oh please tell me you got pictures."

"I opened my mouth and stupid came out," Maeve said as she put her bag over her shoulder. "Typical, really, but now I just want to go home."
"No, nothing like that," Bruce said, rolling his eyes. "Julie came to keep me company earlier, that's all."

"Want to talk about it or not really?" Julie let her lead the way out of the Tower, following behind her easily.
"Oh." Tony smirked. "Well it's about time." Of course he knew who Julie was, he did remember things on his own (even if Pepper said he didn't), but it was fun to tease Bruce.

"Not really," Maeve said. "I just want to go home for right now."
"It's nothing like that, Tony," Bruce replied. "We just went over some notes, that's all. Nothing more."

"Alright, fair enough. I'll see you tomorrow, then," Julie said, waving briefly to her when they got outside the building to go their separate ways.
Tony sighed theatrically. "You're so boring sometimes Bruce," he grumbled.

"Not everyone can be like you, Tony," Bruce said as he gathered his books and notes. He put all the notes away carefully into a folder, and then put everything into a bag.

"I know. The world would be a much better place if everyone was like me, but, y'know, that would probably be too much greatness for the world to handle." Tony shrugged carelessly with a smirk.

"If the world were like you, Tony, the word 'modesty' would have to be stricken from he dictionary," Bruce commented. "And you seem to be in a good mood right now. Did something interesting happen?"

"Working on designs for new pokeballs as well as the electricity amplifier." Tony shrugged.

"Did you manage to work out some of the bugs in the amplifier?" Bruce asked. He knew that was Tony's current primary project.

"Some, yeah, but I won't know about the rest until I test it, but Pepper won't let me test in another one of the normal labs." Tony pouted.

"So bring it back with you to your own lab," Bruce suggested. "Test it there." Hey, it couldn't hurt, right?

"You're coming too. I want to see if you have any input." Tony grabbed Bruce by the wrist to drag him off to the lab.

"Alright," he said. He gestured to his pokemon to follow him.

Tony proceeded with his experiments, up until Pepper had to drag both him and Bruce out of the lab to go eat dinner, since the rest of the Avengers had already ordered food and were (sort of not really) waiting on them.

The following week fell into something of a routine. Maeve alternated between 'babysitting' and her TM work, although she hadn't managed to TM Signal Beam yet, which was annoying her. She'd never had quite this much trouble with a TM before, although creating them wasn't her specialty.
Bruce, on the other hand, was just about ready for an antihistamine test. He was pretty sure he'd found the answer to pollen, and as soon as it worked, he could start on another one.
