I hate shopping so I'm not a fan of black friday, especially since I usually have to work and shoppers are totally INSANE on that day! hahah

Thoth: I'm with you on that. I'm really not a fan of the huge crowds of overly aggressive monsters that come out on Black Friday. I'm really impartial to shopping. I just hate going shopping with other people. They take all the fun away. =/

yeah, crowds don't do it for me either. Plus, they have elbows. Ouch.

@fairy- I usually buy stuff but it is usually less of me buying stuff and more of me grabbing stuff for other people. lol

I hate shopping too but for some reason I love the crazyness on Black Friday.

Exactly Starr... shopping should be quiet and relaxing, no rush... but most people make it into a competition or a fight for cool, cheap stuff and thats when it becomes lame.

Haha interesting Lilith. I think fairy is right, some people get adrenaline rush from shopping... because you get a good item for cheap so it makes you feel like you accomplished something awesome...

I don't usually go shopping, but when I do I prefer a calmer atmosphere. I like having time to peruse the shelves.

Really I think it is that I like winning.
I'm not good at sports so this is something I can win.

Then in return I get food.

Exactly. My friends do the grab and go thing. And they have no problem with ditching me if I take too long. Then an hour later, when I'm still sitting in the back of the bookstore and they're trying to go out for lunch, they realize I've disappeared and start calling me frantically. I've actually gotten into the habit of turning my cell phone off on them. >.>

I agree, getting food in exchange for stuff always works. That's why I like shopping at Publix. They almost always have samples. :drool:

I will grab and fight for things I want or for my place in a line.
But then I'm also that person that sees a random old lady and gets her an item she wants. I help get things off of high shelves.

lol well, I usually keep it on vibrate anyway, so it doesn't bother anyone else. But it's annoying to me that they'll just walk off and forget about me until 1-3 hours later when they want to go somewhere and don't know where I am. So now I go bitch on them and relocate to another side of a mall and turn off my phone. :3

LOL That's the only thing I like about Costco. The parking lot sucks. The people inside suck. But the samples....:drool:
