A very adult book. A very good book. I don't understand why this doesn't have more fans on the internet. If you're not familiar with Gregory Brom's work it's definitely got a dark theme, and though the language does seem very over the top sometimes, I think it's because the FCC has made it seem out of place in a lot of forms of media. If anything, I think my biggest pick over this book is how somehow a lot of the characters who shouldn't speak a modern tongue do, despite only a few of them being from modern times. And one of the main villains, Ulfger, was good, but had very little character development and that would have made him great.

I think I'm actually going to read this book again since I haven't in a while. I wish I owned Brom's cowboy novella. It reminds me of Ghost Rider with awesome picture references.
