I understand your feelings concerning the money part. I wish I had all the money in the world to purchase music from bands or go to concerts. But, as a musician, I believe in supporting musicians! So I don't download music illegally! I'll save up for it! The band members need to eat too!

Right? I can't afford all the albums I want. So I'm stuck putting the same five albums on repeat in my car or else listening to NPR! I feel like it really limits my ability to explore all the great music there is out there... Oh well, maybe someday I'll be rich and can have a massive music library, justify buying an Imagine Dragons CD, etc.

BUY ALL THE ALBUMS!

I actually don't' buy whole Albums anymore. I tend to buy individual songs only unless I can only get certain ones via album purchases. There have been quiet a few exceptions however.

That way, buying individual songs is good. You can support the many artists you want to in your small but not insubstantial way
I don't really have much choice because most albums don't get shipped to India where I live. I couldn't even buy Lorde's Pure Heroine. So I'm not even hoping I can buy Melanie Martinez's debut EP.
Digital albums generally cost a little less though ne?
