I think it was Socrates who said, "Life can be a butt, and you know what, it can turn you into a nut." Brilliant man. But yes, sometimes life can be annoying, so take time to seek out things that calm you, even the little things. And that's what ghost is giving me right here... just a little scene of serenity. Who is this person? A soothsayer? An oracle? Another synonym? That's what it reads to me, a mystic, deep in meditation. What are they trying to divine? Mysteries of the universe? The nature of the human mind? The In and Out secret menu? Animal style burgers are good. ... You have the bright green and purple and stark white, but I think it's the pale blues and violets that pop most for me. Very nicely done.

The problem with mermaid right now are how they're layered on the avatar might not look right. But it's something I've always wanted to try playing with.

The problem with altering the structure of our avis is how it makes other items layer with it, I think. Our system isn't as complex as gaia where it can work around stuff like that.

What do I like most about this avi? Is it the items used? Is it the story it gives me? Or is it the color use? I'm gonna say... yes. bsd has built a lovely little collection of pixels. that pleases me in each way. Hats perfectly balanced on fros amuse me. XD The monocle, the book, the globe and the expanse of sky behind her... Who is she? I almost feels like this is a Harry Potter character, a professor of astrology or geography, surveying everything beyond her balcony. It's altogether a simple avi, but has a very magical feel. And the combination of soft browns, golds and muted purples works well together. Nicely done. :)

Hey guys! It's been a minute, hasn't it? Life has a way of pushing things to the background, doesn't it? And now it's July. Summer is in force, for us in the Northern Hemisphere, and temperatures are rising. Myself, i'm not a fan of the heat. So I plan to spend the next few months sitting in the freezer. Just gotta figure out how to squeeze myself in there.

And my AP for the week is...

What Mikio has made here is a fun and whimsical avi. The Wonderland influence is undeniable. The stripes and checkers. Tea kettle and pocket watch. Even a white rabbit. The poop face on the top hat is great. It makes it seem maniacal, which perfectly matches the avi's face. And you know I want me some of that tasteh lookin' drink. Ughhh, I could go for something cold right about now. ... Also, I should mention, the hair makes it look like the Queen of Hearts bumped off the Mad Hatter and stole his clothes... It's dark, but I enjoy it. ;D
