I.... don't have any accent. Well, I suppose technically that's impossible. Anyway, I have an... American accent? (southern sneaks in there every once in a while too.... I hate it.)

I have silly accent. Anyone who thinks English is all 'Jolly ho!' and 'Top hat, old bean!' would have a heart attack if they heard my wonderful Northern excuse for speech. (I'm from the same city as The Futureheads if anyone has heard them)

I guess its because of who I am and the stigma of the nature of those who have southern accents or the stereotype of them.

I dunno why but I always thought Southern accents were hawt... it reminds me of a cowboy or cowgirl. <333

As much as a cowboy is hot, and the brokeback mountain gives me dreams, I doubt that those fantasies would ever greet me.

Being male, I suppose, makes the "positive" aspects of southern accents less appealing. I mean, southern females are supposed to be nicer than northern ones, but since I tease people I care about, I'd probably just end up feeling like a jerk.

Well, being homosexual, and coming from Tennessee, Bible belt country and the home of the roughest southern accents. I have hard feelings for the accent.

Half of my family is from Tennessee, so I kinda know what you mean. Then again, being heterosexual, I've not the issues that come along with being homosexual around jerkfaces who think that they're superior for stupid reasons. *shakes fist* Sorry... even thinking about those people upset me.
