I'm going to be setting up a thrift store to help out new users! This is gonna be no different to any other thrift store that you guys know; you donate your unwanted stuff, and I'll sell it on to the needy, cheap! Just here, the people you'll be helping out will be new users who have joined Mene and have no clothes yet :O


I shall be living in a sticky in the Fresh Meat forum so the new guys can (hopefully) find me easily, you'll be welcome to come and visit me in there anytime! I shall likely be harassing you guys for donations on a fairly regular basis, too :ninja:


I'm gonna have a store in the Marketplace for selling my wares. This is gonna be a test of the honesty and integrity of some of you, I know ;D There's going to be nothing stopping anyone from buying my cheap stuff, even if they have thousands of gold, nothing but their own morals :O

Maybe if you buy something from me when you could easily pay full price for it in the stores, you'll donate something else of yours, that would be nice ;D


I'm looking to gain some stock first, before I open up, so if you have an item that you never wear and would like to donate it to a good cause, send it to me in a trade!! The new users of Menewsha will be very grateful!

this sounds absolutely awesome :o, as a new user I don't have much to contribute myself, but I do think it is a marvelous idea and I hope I can help one day in the future.

This is an awesome idea. I know that I would donate items to here and probably occasionally buy from here too, I tend to socialize and make some gold on here, but nothing like a lot of other people I know, but I definitely would not buy something if I could afford it elsewhere.

Cassie, just commons really, maybe cheap EIs, but I think if I have more valuable items then some people would find it too much of a temptation :sweat:

Ah, I hear you on that one. I don't really have any of the cheaper EIs I don't think. I have a few of the NPC food items though, the Christmas ones. The next time I have spare commons I'll send them your way. (:
