Guinevere had fallen asleep on her couch, still holding her guitar. "Crap, Iseult's gonna kill me!" She set the guitar on the couch, and ran to the counter, to find a note. Good morning, I couldn't wake you, so I just took your shift, so you have to cover mine tonight! haha! Anyways, I'm going to visit some friends, seeing as I don't have to work for another 24 hours now. Get breakfast ready for the customers. And don't fall asleep again, you know what daddy does when that happens. ~Izzy.

Guinevere smirked, and sat down at the stool behind the desk, she'd prepare breakfast later, until then she would read. So she pulled out her book and continued to read, At the time the Grail cup was carried to Britain many strange things happened all over the world...

Arturius sighed as he walked into The Astro, checking his money pouch.
He approached the counter and saw a floating book. Then he blinked and realised someone was holding it.
"Excuse me, how much is a room here?" he asked quietly

Guinevere's head popped up, "hi! Welcome to the Astro. I'm guinevere. The price is $26 a night. One of the cheapest in the Galaxy!" She put on her almost-fake-advertisement voice. "Should I put you down? mister..."

Arturius blanched when she removed the book. Wow, she was pretty.
"Pendragon, Arturius Pendragon. And yes please Miss...?"

Guinevere smiled, and jotted down his name. "Okay Mr. Pendragon, I'm Guinevere Blaise." She turned to pull a key off of one of the hooks. "Follow me!" She stepped out from behind the counter.

"N-nice to meet you, Miss Blaise"
He followed her quietly and hefted his bag again.
"So, where are we going?"

"To get to your room." Guinevere turned and walked down the hall, to room number 4 down the hall. "Here you go sir," she opened the door to reveal the comfortably small room. "Bathroom to the right, closet in the back, one bed, breakfast is pretty much all day, if you want it we fix it!" She said almost cheerily, but none the less enthusiastic.

"oooh, thanks" he looked in, smiling.
"It's just right. So, do I get the key, or do you get to keep it so you can sneak in?"

Guinevere laughed, and blushed slightly, "sorry!" She handed him the key, "no I won't be sneaking tonight I guess." She turned and started to walk down the hall, "enjoy your stay, if you need anything, I'm at the front desk."

"Okay," he laughed. "So, is that just tonight or any other day?"
He laughed and kissed her cheek.
"Have a nice... er.. relaxing night"

Gwennan smirked, "let's drop this conversation." She giggled, and blushed as he kissed her cheek. "You... Too!" She then hurried off to the front desk, her cheeks still red.

He laughed as she hurried off and ran a hand through his hair, his face red too. He shut the door behind himself and dumped his stuff on the bed

Guinevere stepped behind her desk again, she looked around to see no one. She slumped back onto her chair, and flipped out the book again. She tried to read, but for some reason she could not. So she just sat and waited, leaving herself to her thoughts, as she usually did.

Arturius unpacked his clothes into the drawers, and collecting his key headed down to grab some food.
On his way there he passed the front dest.
"Excuse me, what is that book you were reading?"

Guinevere looked up at Arturius, "the book?" She looked down to see it right in front of her, she'd spaced out again, "OH the book! 'King Arthur and His Men' I really like it!" She flipped through the brown pages.

"Sounds pretty cool. What are the main points and characters?" he asked, genuinely wondering

"Well, there's Merlin, a powerful mage. There's kind Arthur, who had a table of knights, Galahad, Lancelot, Tristan, Gawaine, and a few more. Not all of them have shown up yet..." Her mind slipped back to being an employee of a cheap motel, "did you need something? I can make food if you like."

"I'm good, I'll be able to throw a cheese toasty together. So, no princesses? I thought they all had them? Stories that is"
He shrugged and headed out of the main area

"Well, I'm not exactly finished with it yet, there's a princess in the beginning, but she never appears again, so she doesn't really count as a main character... Oh, the kitchen's in the door straight ahead." Guinevere pointed to the a door located directly across from her desk.

"Okay, thanks" he replied, heading into the kitchen to make some food
"Oh, would you like one?"

"Ummm..." Guinevere thought for a moment, "sure, if it's not to much to ask." She said, looking back down at her book, the rough red cover, printed with black letters. There were no pictures on it, just a sword running through the word 'and.'

He smiled having an idea.
"Of course not, Milady" he replied, bowing to her before heading into the kitchen where began to cook, humming to himself

Guinevere smiled. When Arturius walked into the kitchen, she opened up the book again and started to read again.

Arturius lit the grill and ,after a quick hunt, found some bread and cheese.
Using a knife he cut the Cheese and made it into a few toasties. Splitting them onto two plates he turned the grill back off and headed back out into main area.
"Express delivery"

Guinevere looked up from the book to see Arturius had come back in, and the smell of the toasted cheese drifted in to her nose. She shut the book and tossed it into her room. "Aww, thank you!"
