I think that is another thing that this site has had trouble with. Many of us were here in the first couple of years of mene and stuck around. But we all started when we were young and had time to spare. Now we are adults, with careers and some with families, and it's hard to find the time to be on as much. We still care and come on, but not so much that the site is really active. And with less activity it is hard to keep new people interested, so we became rather stagnant. I imagine that all these issues are in part partially our faults as well, due to not supporting the site enough for it to be well off enough to take care of itself in a time of crisis. Had the site been bringing in more revenue, then perhaps this issue could have been sorted quickly.

While we have the love and care of Roachi and Queenie, fighting to help keep this site running, it isn't quite enough for a whole site to sit on the shoulders of two dedicated users. And our moderators do their absolute bests, especially with what they've got.

It is the truth, so many of us started when we were in our late teens, early twenties before life got all serious with stuff and then we faded out because of real life stuff. Honestly, some of my fading is due to the issues that have been present for quite sometime and it feels like wasted effort to do stuff during events when the love is not returned by the owners of the site. Now, that is just my feelings and opinions, something that I have stated before and been reprimanded for saying. I guess, if you don't care for my feelings or opinions, there are other threads to visit and converse in.

Well, I'll tell you how my garden grows. My garden grows with participation. It ends up becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy when people say how Menewsha is dying, and this gets under my skin a bit. Yes, Menewsha is neglected, and this is unfortunate, but what really makes the site is its users. If we stick with it here I'm confident that this site will survive. It is also my opinion that this negativity has affected the staff, too, and is evidenced by fewer events and new CI releases. So, yeah. That's how my crappy garden grows.

Edit: My reply isn't a slap at you. Please don't read into it that way. I just cannot understand why people ask if Menewsha or dead or dying.

It would help things a bit if the glitches were fixed. The dragging of feet is unbelievable.

That dragging of the feet is probably biggest hesitation. If they were being addressed I would make a way bigger effort to be here. Right now though I have started a new job, volunteering with the VFW and trying to start a family, time is limited but I could probably etch out a few minutes here and there to help keep the place going. Yes, some of that is on me. Some of it is also on the site for recruiting and keeping new members, glitches, fewer CIs and fewer events do not bring in and keep the members.

I am hoping wishie is alright. THey have been having in real life issues hence the lack of contribution items.

Pretty sure that buried in the user guide and acceptance form there is verbiage buried there about life not being fair and we get no returns or refunds.

No one ever reads the things they accept when signing up for stuff. For all we know there is acceptance language in the vagina, but since we can't read at that age, we just accept and head on out into the world.
