I made a seriously yummy toastie once! I make mine in a mini grill/sandwich toaster thing, it has plates specifically for sandwiches, but I use the ones intended for grilling meat/veggies, so sandwiches end up compressed and with lines like on a panini. Because it squishes them down I can't add loads of cheese because it all escapes xD But non-melty/runny things work well.
