I love commons. <3 But I don't buy many either. I'm just too worried about CI's and EI's to ever really bother. Events are the only time I get any.

I only really buy limited items when there is an automated marketplace system ( like Menewsha has ). If a forum is required I am sticking with commons and events which I earn XD.

Really? I was still more interested in CI's and EI's before the marketplace. I really dislike the marketplace, though it is easier in ways. I just liked the exchange forum environment before.

i like the marketplace, lets me find items.. down side.. you cant haggle with the prices not that i was much of a shopper before as i could never find anyone selling something i wanted. now all i have to do is wait for prices to drop or for me to earn up enough gold to get it..

The marketplace is definitely easier, but I miss the.. feel of things before. It required more involvement in the community.

'blank look' Glam..out of all the sites i've been on Mene HAS the most involvment. you can talk to the mods, talk to each other, pop into some random thread and say hi and end up with several 'hi's ' and a welcome back..but then maybe im just more jaded 'shrugs'

I know, and that's why I love Mene. But there WAS more before. It's just different, lacking that little aspect. It's not the end of the world, just something I kind of miss. The exchange threads are nearly pointless now, and I hung out there the most before.

Well everyone has different tastes. :) I'm sure the marketplace is great for a lot of people, and thats why it exists. I just personally miss the old exchange forum.
