Lee Child writes good mysteries... but idk how "age appropriate" they are, so if you're only like thirteen, I wouldn't read them.

The DaVinci Code is supposed to be a good mystery...I never got that into it myself, though. The Girl Who Played With Fire is also supposed to have a lot of suspense.

The DaVinci Code is mostly just Dan Brown shoving opinions down your throat, Angels and demons was far better.
