Eira thought and bit her lip. "How about...out back of the castle?" She smiled lightly and looked at him. He seemed so sweet. How could he be her enemy? It made no sense. She sighed and crossed her arms.

He smiled. "Ok I'll meet you there after dark ok?" he took his cousin in and put her to bed. It would be dark in about an hour so he figured he'd better have something to eat. He got some food and ate in silence waiting for time to go by.

Eira smiled and headed back. She snuck inside and stole some food. She went up to he room and started to eat. Why did she feel like she had to talk to him? He was supposed to be the enemy.

Iku ran to the back of the castle and waited for Eira. He wa eager to talk to her. She was sweet, pretty, and had a great personality.

Eira opened her window and climbed onto the tree there. She jumped down and saw Iku. She smiled and made her way over to him. "Hey." Part of her had thought he wouldn't show up. She was glad he had.

He jumped slightly. "O. Hey!" he was excited to see her. Maybe a little to excited. he was happy she had showed and he wasn't dead.

Eira started to walk and pushed some branches out of the way. The place she went was somewhere no one else knew existed. She looked back at him and smiled. "come on, slow poke!"

He ran after her almost stumbling, but regaining his balance with ease. His training helped him be very good at things like that. "Where are we?" he ask. The entire area was completely unseen by other eyes. He liked it. It was private. "How did you find a place like this?" she must have been living here for quite awhile to know something like this even existed. He walked beside her now. "Your very pretty, you know that? I like your personality too." he ha been wanting to tell her that since he met her. For some reason he was beginning to like her even though he had only known her for a few hours.

Eira smiled lightly. "My mom. She found it when she had just married my dad." She kept walking and tripped when he said she was pretty." She knew she was blushing and tried to calm down. "Thank you." She looked back at him and took his hand. "Come on. We're almost there." She walked faster, pulling him along.

He blushed brightly at her touch and wondered where they were going. He also wondered if she was beginning to feel the way he did. He really liked her. It seemed odd since he had just meet her but he did. He didn't know how to control these emotions. They were new and he had never really felt like this.

When they broke through the trees they were at a little pond. Eira let go of him and then took off her boots. She sat down on the grass and sighed. She looked up at the sky and then back at him. "Come on." She smiled happily and then looked into the water.

Iku smiled and sat next to her. He didn't stare at the stars like she did. He stared at her. Stars were pretty but she was beautiful. He smiled at how her hair shone in moonlight. He ran his hads through her hair and pulled her to him. He hesitated for a moment, bit the kissed her gently on her soft lips. He hoped he didnt het bitchslapped. He didn't let his lips linger but for a quick second. It was more of a peck then a kiss, but he was to nervous to do more than that.

Eira was shocked when he pulled her close and kissed her. She was blushing brightly again. "Iku...wh-...that was nice.' she smiled lightly, blushing a little more. Was that his goal? TO see how red her face could get?

He blushed almost as red as she did. He then pulled her in for a real kiss. This one was deep and passionate. After all she hadn't smacked him yet. That had to mean something.

Eira held onto him, glad he was kissing her again. He was so warm and caring. She moved a bit closer and rubbed his shoulders a bit.

He held her tightly and looked at the night sky then back to her. "Your so beautiful and kind and wonderful." he didn't know how to tell her how wonderful he thought she was. He couldn't fond the right words.

Eira smiled and looked at her hands. "I'm not that beautiful." She shrugged and took his hand, running her fingers along it.

He tilted her chin and looked her in the eyes lovingly. "Yes you are" he whispered. He intertwined his fingers with hers.

"Well, if you say so." She stuck her tongue out at him and moved even closer, putting her head on his shoulder. She smiled and pulled him down, putting her head on his chest.

He giggled when she stuck out her tounge. It was cute. He stroked her silky, brown hair and then her back. "The sky looks nice tonight." it did. The sky was clear and the stars were twinkeling brightly. He smiled. Then he frowned. He ha the worst thought he could possibly imagine. He was going to have to leave her to go back to his kingdom eventually. This war ruined everything. He wanted to be with her always and never leave, but that would be bad for both of them. If they were to stay together they would have to run away. He didn't say anything to her about it. He didn't want to ruin the night.

Eira shivered a bit at his touch and smiled. She closed her eyes and relaxed, happy to be here. She didn't want to be anywhere else. Why would she want to? She rubbed his chest a bit and cuddled even closer. This was so nice.

He hugged her closer. He didn't want to lose her. "Cam we talk tomorrow sometime? I want to ask you something, but not now."

Eira looked up at him and smiled. She nodded and spoke quietly. "Why can't you ask me right now?"

He frowned. "Because tonight I want to be happy. I'm asking you you a very serious question and it's not so happy."

"Oh...okay." She smiled and then put her head on his chest again. She relax and then sighed, trying to forget everything else.
