Batman looked over at Kitsune, and did a barely noticeable double take. "Wait- she is talking to it. I didn't know she could do that."

Understanding the animal's wish, Kitsune finished and picked it up gently, showing an absurd strength for her size. "For some reason I can't fully comprehend, this one wants to go back to his master. So I'm going to bring him there." She informed the others.

"Are you insane? That's like bringing an elephant back to a poacher! Everyone is better off if that animal never finds it's way back to Joker." Batman protested.

"Clearly, he doesn't think so." Kitsune said, nodding to the injured hyena in her arms. "I'll be going now. Cress, I'll see you in a while." And with that, she disappeared.

"What...how...why...does this have anything to do with that outburst at the party the other night?" Batman looked at Cress, obviously confused.

"Maybe." Cress shrugged. "Maybe not. He did look sad and you never know Joker may pamper his...pets." she sighed. "She'll be fine. Now do you want company for the rest of the night?" she asked glancing at the henchmen.

Joker was at his warehouse pacing trying to figure out what his next move would be. Bud tilted his head at him. "Lou will come home safe you'll see." Joker stroked Buds head.

Batman sighed and shrugged, accepting that there was nothing he could do about it now. "I'd appreciate it, thanks." He said, gladly accepting her offer.

There was, at that moment, a banging at the door- something that had possibly never happened at that location until then.

Joker opened the door holding a gun. "What on earth?" he frowned darkly as Bud growled appearing next to him.

Cress beamed. "Great! Clark never lets me tag along. What's first?"

Kitsune tilted her head. Though her mask covered her face, she gave the distinct impression that she was raising an eyebrow at him. "You left him behind." She said, indicating the hyena she was still carrying. "He was injured and couldn't follow. I healed him and brought him back, as he requested. You are lucky to have a friend so loyal."

"Well, first thing would be to drop these goons off at the police station." Batman said. "After that, mostly just patrolling until we find a reason to act...and there's always something eventually."

"Roger." Cress dragged the bad guys towards the police station. When they had left them there for the police to find she followed him into the night. "It's fun patrolling with someone." she smiled at him as they jumped over the rooftops. "Oh Kitty!" she jumped across a large break in the building to hug Catwoman who was out stealing things. "Oh Cress." she smiled then sighed. "And you have Batman with you." "If you did something I'll distract him." Cress promised making Catwoman laugh.

''I was about to go get him." Joker took Lou from the girl. 'Are you alright?" he asked the hyena who just nuzzled his shirt. 'you big baby." Joker rolled his eyes and placed him on a large dog bed. "Thanks for bringing him back...are you going to arrest me? Because I would rather have a head start."

Batman landed next to them. "That doesn't exactly work if you announce your plan right in front of me." He told Cress.

Kitsune shook her head. She didn't want to talk much, in case he recognized her voice. "No, I'm not. I really should, but...it would leave these two in a bad situation." She motioned to the hyenas. "I'll take my leave."

'Sure it could still work." Cress grinned at him. "I'm still a bad guy a heart after all." she glanced at Catwoman. "I haven't done anything yet." she promised. "Though you could go stop a break in down the street." she pointed off into the distance.

"Thanks for bringing him home." Joker frowned. "You know you kind of sound familiar."

Batman didn't even look where she pointed. "Or, you could go stop the break-in, and I can handle the main villains." He said.

Kitsune froze for a moment. "Make no mistake, it was not for you. I did it for him. He wanted to come back." She said after a moment, ignoring the rest of what he said.

Cress blinked. "You would trust me by myself?" Catwoman took the chance to vanish into the darkness. "I'll do my best." she grinned and slipped away. He heard a moment of silence then the sky lit up with flames. She reappeared with the thieves who looked singed to say the least. "I did it!" she looked pleased though he could see she had shoved something into her outfit.

"Your Lori's little friend." Joker grinned. "Oh that's priceless." he chuckled. "It just gets easier to figure you hero's out and of course he wanted to come back. I take good care of them."

Batman raised an eyebrow. "You took something." He said. "Show me. Or I'll take it from you."

Kitsune turned. "Lori is a friend of mine, yes. Why you assume she has only one friend is beyond me." She said. "I am exactly who you see. My name is Kitsune, and that is all I am. Goodbye." With that, she disappeared.

"Who me?" Cress smiled innocently glad she had shoved the necklace into her bra. "I would never have taken anything...at least not anymore." she batted her eyelashes.

"See you." Joker smiled and went to take care of his hyena's planning on making more trouble later.

"Be aware that I have no problem reaching into your shirt to get it back." Batman said shamelessly, glad she couldn't see his face behind the mask.

Cress's eyes widened into saucers and she blushed. Slowly her eyes turned to slits "you wouldn't dare." she scowled softly.

"I would dare. In fact, I would most likely enjoy the experience more than you want me to." Batman said.

Cress turned even pinker and sputtered for a moment. She crossed her arms over her chest "don't you even." she managed to choke out. She grabbed the thieves and raced away from her embarrassment. She dropped the thieves at the police station fanning herself. "Oh God now I can't get the image out of my mind." she groaned and went to find Kitsune hoping to beat up a few bad guys to get her mind off of what had just happened.

Naturally, Batman followed her, as he hadn't gotten the stolen necklace back yet. He stayed a little behind and undetected, though, so he could see what she'd do next.

Kitsune, as if summoned, appeared around a corner from her. "Hm? Cress? Why are you all red?"

Cress turned even pinker if that was possible and told her what had happened. "He basically said he would..." she trailed off blushing more. "I hate to compare but I'm not use to that. Clark was such a boy scout, he never said, thought or did anything like that." she shook her head. "Now I can't get the thought of him reaching into my shirt out of my head." she touched the necklace that was still in her bra.

Kitsune smiled, though it couldn't be seen, and chuckled softly. "You realize that now, every time you see that necklace, you're going to think of Bruce fondling your breasts." She teased. "Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. I mean, if you like thinking about that."

Cress turned pinker and began to fan herself. "Oh God. Your not helping!" she ran a hand threw her hair. "I'm keeping that necklace." she smirked mischievously. "Come on lets go punch a few bad guys so I can forget about him talking about fondling my breasts."

"You're keeping it? Oh, I get it. You're going to take it out in your alone time and..." Her tone was so suggestive that she didn't need to finish. "How naughty."

Cress was now an alarming red color. "I'm going to kill you." she squeaked out and lunged at her planning on strangling her.

Kitsune dodged, laughing a laugh that sounded like bells. "Alright, alright I'll stop!" She said.

"You better." Cress half pouted half scowled blasting her with heat. "Lets go beat someone up." she turned and frowned. "Oh my...he just heard that." she groaned. "I can't believe he just heard that."

Kitsune turned to catch a glimpse of Batman trailing them from the shadows. "Oh dear." She started laughing.
