Haha, nooo-! I wish I was, but really, I can only sing a bit, so that's not nearly enough to qualify me as one. I work at a childrens' afterschool daycare, so during school holidays I -do- occasionally do a music class with the kids. :D

I'll bet the kids love it.

And music teachers are AWESOME. You are giving the gift of music. I thank my stars I was taught as it is one life skill that I use to help myself cope with stress and depression. It is an outlet I can get lost in. I love it.

Jeannesha - A lot of kids were I work are a bit... uneasy about it. Not the toddlers so much, they adore it. But the kids that are starting to become teenagers; it really takes a lot of work to get some of them excited enough about singing to actually do it, rather than stand at the side and mock. x'D
But well. Singing is wonderful. I can't help doing it all the time, myself, so yeah.

Izumi - It sounds like you had a wonderful music teacher, then.

Well I had a few over the years, but being taught how to read music as a child and having the oppertunity at home to play it. (My mom had a baby grand piano in the house until I was 11 - then repurchased one a few years later and I played then. I was the only one in the family other than my mother who could, or cared to.)

I'm not good at it, but it's something that when I'm really upset I can pour my heart an soul into it and it's theraputic. I play for myself, to get lost in that 'zone'. Sounds creepy, I'm sure.
