I'm not sure this is really the right place for your question - the literature forum (as far as I understand it) is for things you've written yourself.

It's preceded by "Writers can post their work", though, so it seems logical that "work" refers to work created by the posters (which anyone who reads it can discuss). Why would there be a separate book forum if people are meant to discuss the work of published authors here? This board is also part of an entire subsection of the site dedicated to work produced by members of the site.

I could be wrong, but it's probably worth checking with a moderator, as I don't think this thread really belongs here.
