It's not necessarily about quality dear, ideas and effort are very important too. :)


I must say, tonight just turned around so damn much. i had a long sleep and a very depressing phone call to wake up to, but seeing all the bunnies you guys have made today cheers me straight up. thank you all so much, you've made my day. :)

@ Sky... Lo is right it is not about quality... it is about taste and creativity... And if you check the first page for the prizes you will see that there are many chances to win... There will be a bust scetch done for each best in catagory... and the over all prizes as well... so many many many chances to win some art here. :) We did this to give you guys something fun to do while hunting down carrots and all.. :P Plus the bunnis make Lo and I feel good when our days are going not so good. :)

Well Lo and I are both artists... so we apreciate all entries! I mean art comes in all shapes sizes and forms. And all kinds can be awesome... effort counts for everything with me at least. :) And I think yours was adorable and a good bunni rep of you... plus my hubby lived in Japan so the kimono did it for me..lol

:) im making my bunny look like my avy - right now ive just got the lantern staff and hair done. and everything else is in outlines waiting to be shaded.
not gonna work on it until tomorrow evening, im staying at my dads tonight

I have no kimonos. I modeled one for the anime club once. My dad complained that I shouldn't be wearing things from other cultures or something and concentrate on my own. ._.; It really irritates me when he gets that way.

@ dys - thats ridiculous, it bugs me when people that think you can only be involved in your culture. In that case, he should probably only use things made where your from, only eat local grown food/dishes ect ect lol life would be awfully boring

i adore my kimono, i also adore sari, ao dai, tang dynasty chinese clothing and pretty much all western clothing from 1930 down to medieval, yay corsets <3

I like how our clothes here.

But I don't like how warm they can be at times.

Or how you can mistake them for a different culture/place of origin's culture. @_@

There are some that just have that 'it could pass for something else' and it makes me sad.

many people dont care to know or pay attention to the differences sadly

most people i know think any asian comes from china, cause that is obviously the only country in that part of the world -eye roll- if i correct them they just shrug and say its all the same, if i know them i make a dig at something they know alot about, and then claim its all the same thing, pisses em off and gets me a good laugh

That is why I get sad when people say 'Asian'
and I know better that their definition or feel of what is 'Asian' is really JUST about East Asia.
