Well since it is the first day of the event everyone is super excited and talkative. Plus she is like the most important NPC for this event. Hopefully as time goes on things will slow down and stuff, anyways you have chatted with her before right? Because of that she should notice you more ^^
EDIT: Oh my gosh!!! Did you see her new outfit?! It looks crazy cool! Plus the heart on her halo has split... It is really sad. She looks pretty mad by the way 0____________0
