Well, it's the perfect time to get out of doing things for the rest of your life. They'll write it off as you not knowing better instead of punishing you.

I am an optimistic realist so while I do naturally look on the bright side of things and give people the benefit of the doubt often and forgive people easily, et cetera, I do try to also look at things realistically sometimes

Why shouldn't we believe in friends? They are people that exist. I might be a hermit supreme, but even I go out and do fun things with my friends. I went out with my work friends today and we had delicious foods and fun times :D

There may be friends out there, IRL.
