Any ideas for what we should do?

Well, a while ago I was in a role play with zodiac models. I shall link you; I was thinking maybe we could do something like that! C:

What about, like, using the zodiacs as rangers or rebels against a government that was framing innocent people in things they didn't do just to have an excuse to kill them? Its weird but I'm still thinking on ways to better explain it.

That actually sounds pretty great! Maybe they're killing the people because they were scientists working for the government but now that the project is over they don't want anyone to know about it, not even the scientists. So they start murdering the scientists. Then there are those "special" scientists who are zodiacs as well! C:

Or it could be something like, each zodiac has a bad thing about them. A non-compatiability with a certain situation or something, that drives them to do something that they didn't really do. [if that makes sense than continue reading] they each wake up, unconscious with something amiss to the point that they are arrested, found guilty and put into jail for almost eight years.

After getting out, they know they did nothing wrong, but since they were convicted anyways they decide to team up and take revenge on people.

I like both ideas because both give me a chance to make crazy characters XD

uhm...maybe we should get what "genre" this roleplay is going to be out of the way first? It's agreed that we'll be using the Zodiac, right?

The zodiacs would be something like gods, right? Everyone has a zodiac sign therefore they'd already have powers no matter what, so does the experiment stuff really even fit that?

Yep, the Zodiacs are superiors! I think the experiment stuff fits in rather nicely! (:

i was thinking that the scientists were trying to create these superior beings, called the "zodiac". they kidnapped thirteen individuals and had them placed under before being experimented on. One was considered a failure and was "terminated". After running a couple of tests, the scientists found out that their experiments had made the individuals develop abilities pertaining to specific animals, thus the individuals were labeled according to the Chinese Zodiac.

the government that had been funding this project suddenly gets cold feet and decides to pull out, ordering that these experiments be terminated. the scientists refuse, so the government sends in a special-ops team at some obscure time and during the resulting massacre where all scientists are killed, the "zodiac" members manage to escape.

now, the government is on the lookout for them, posting agents everywhere with orders to "kill on sight".

Aoi, you just gave me an idea. What if after that they went after the government that killed their friends or something mainly to get revenge, they become something like warriors. More modern and stuff. And maybe not just abilities to animals but to control certain people with their zodiac sign. Like different races/teams, or something like that?

Maybe the Zodiac's could control animals that reflect their own behaviour or their own sign. Though it would be might hard if one of us were to portray a dragon zodiac. How about if we have a scientist alive and then the scientist explains who they are and why they were created after explaining their purpose the scientist can get killed in front of their eyes, which in turn enrages them and turns them against the government.

uhm...I like the revenge idea. The zodiac members can be trying to get back at the government that basically ruined their lives. But I didn't think that the zodiac members would consider the scientists their friends, and technically none of the zodiac members died anyway. For revenge and stuff, I think it'd be done easier if it's kept as a small group, being able to control certain people kind of makes the whole revenge thing pointless if the government officials fall under their zodiac signs. Maybe they can control, or rather, influence the animals that they represent?

Well, i just don't see the thrill of using only animal abilities. It's just seems rather plain to me. =\

There's not really much chaos to it. And since they would be controlling them the humans would be temporary characters. None of them would even be given names because they'd never be used again

and not all the scientists would be exactly rude, power hungry people orf anything like that. >.<

@Aoi so lizards and komodo dragons, for instance?

@Lai I was thinking that we have two characters each, and the humans can just be like what ever and we can use them to our advantage when ever and where ever. Is that what you are getting at as well?

Not exactly. As i said before, the zodiac signs are like what defines a certain group of people. How would that fact fit in if you're only counting animals? And what exactly happens to the normal zodiacs, like Libra?

Ah, I thought we were using the Chinese zodiac only.

I initially assumed the Chinese Zodiac because it's the one I am most familiar with and it is the easiest to act upon xD
