Shadami, I just laughed out loud at work reading your comment about what you think you saw on your previous post. Holy mother that's hilarious.

When we moved to our office my right monitor stretches everything so it's huge and the left one shows it as smaller...super weird. Not how it was before. Damn technology.

Probably all the non-sleep you've been getting from the moving, unpacking and being in a different place. Always an adjustment for the level of sleeping in a new place.

How is the new place, by the way?

it's been wonderful. i love being on my own. we're having an issue getting the electricity hooked up. and the girls still think they can get what they want cause they're used to being able to just ask grandma when mommy or daddy say no. so we're having a bit of headache over that. other wise its great.

I'm sure they'll learn awfully quick when they realize grandma isn't around to spoil them anymore.

Hopefully. They may be starting to get the idea. But no real improvement yet. It didn't help that our power got turned off cause they failed to contact us when they only emailed us when I needed a phone call cause moving .duh. They couldn't connect our account for some bull shit reason that the landlord has never encountered before renting the apartment. So now we are dying of heat and almost hit heat exhaustion dehydration levels cause its bloody hot. And its all their fault cause their system is shit.

Yikes, Shadami. That sounds miserable! Hopefully the situation gets rectified in a hurry, don't want y'all stroking out on us.

Kids will adapt once you've laid the smack down about the changes. They're used to a certain routine and well it's changed, so now they have to change with it. Hopefully. Otherwise I can imagine it will be like WWIII up in your apartment if they don't conform.

Some grandparents are crazy it's awful. Makes one wonder how some of us became functioning adults later in life. My mom would always try to get my niece to "ask for more money" as if her father was a piggy bank she could simply tap into.

But kids are fortunately capable of adapting to change better than adults for the most part ^^

Kids are way more flexible when it comes to new environments. Just how they roll.

People with a development or learning disability can be surprisingly intelligent and capable of adapting. It just takes them a little longer.

i've gone into the hot hell that is my house right now. we've been far more insanely busy than i expected to be this month. Between unpacking, bickering, trying to get electirc, water, school, food stamps, medicaid sorted out. It's been pretty crazy.

we lost power for 3 days
the water main in front of our apartment burst so we were out of water for one day.

I've been trying to get everything settled so we can live as a family. But things keep happening. Foodstamps didn't actually close our case in the old county so the new county can't accept our apllication. even though the old county is refusing to contact us because we're not in their county anymore so i have to try to get that sorted out

than my student loan payments that were on income based repayment plan of 0 just ended but they want me to sign a recertification with NOT MY NAME. on a LEGAL DOCUMENT. so i can't get the repayment plan put back up until they flipping respond to my calls. So i have to get that sorted out cause we can't pay for an extra 200 dollars a month right now until we can get settled.

Sounds kind of shady, Shadami. You're right to bitch about the change needing to be made.

If they didn't input it in your name, it doesn't sound legally binding because they have falsified information on your document.
