The last film I saw was Wreck-it Ralph. I loved it so much! I kind of new I was going to like it because of the theme (I tried to not let only that influence me) but that actual story line was really well written and the some of the symbolism and morals within it was great. Soundtrack was pretty fab too. I like soundtracks.

I'd like to give it a 8.5/10

The Tunnel

It was a documentary type filmed like Blair Witch about a creature living in the sewer. Surprisingly good for what it was.

8/10.

Phantom of the Opera (2004) was the last movie I saw. Actually, I'm watching it right now and I'm going to watch it many more times. I really love it the adaptation of the musical. Everything about it is amazing and I understand how it was the most expensive movies of all time as it is beautifully detailed. The casting and costuming is fantastic but what gets me the most is the soundtrack, I love it. It's one of my all time favourite musicals and films. I was lucky to see the musical at Her Majesty's Theatre in London which may not seem to be a big thing but to me it is. :>
I give it a 9/10 which is the highest rating I've ever given something in this thread.

The last movie I saw was a British spy/mystery movie called "The 39 Steps". It was pretty awesome. I loved it to bits because it was incredibly interesting. 10 out of 10. It was probably one of the most interesting movies I've seen in a while.

Dazed and Confused. It was really casual which I occasionally like to watch because I don't have to think about it at all but then again nothing really stood out but somehow it's just this iconic film to me...

Went and saw Pacific Rim yesterday. It's pretty awesome, I'd say 8/10 due to some plotholes and illogical stuff, but the special effects and music are awesome. <3

Elysium:
Besides the plotholes and the inclusion of Burial in a shitty dubstep-filled soundtrack (seriously, you either have just real dubstep or all brostep, mixing the two is retarded) it was alright. I'd give it something like a 4/10. Teetering on the border between offensive and inoffensive.

Just got back from seeing "The Conjuring". Incredible movie, definitely scary. Likely one of the scariest I've ever seen. It's the modern day Exorcist. I give a five star rating, a must see film for horror fanatics.

1/10. this movie is a piece of garbage and a complete waste of time. started out ok, but around the 15 minute mark it starts to become painfully obvious this movie isnt going anywhere and you wasted your evening trying to watch it. im already not a very big fan of ben kingsley, but he made this movie 100 times worse by showing his ugly face and playing one of the most annoying characters i've ever seen in a movie to date. avoid this shitpile at all costs.

Pacific Rim.
6/10
The action and effects in this movie were pretty awesome and the concept also was a good one. But there were some unnecessary and ridiculous things that made the movie feel more cheap than it could have been. I enjoy comedy, even in non-comedy movies, but this was another instance where it felt more like they weren't sure which direction to go, serious or funny and so the funny scenes felt out of place and kind of forced. And cliches, man... I know that this movie is kind of specific in its "genre" I suppose and there's probably quite I bit I can't really appreciate because I'm not familiar with it. But, I also feel like it could have been a much better movie if it got past that.

Dead Poet's Society at the insistence of my fiance. It was okay but I didn't like the abrupt ending so... 6/10?

Yeah, I agree, the ending was sort of weird on that. Given that it was based on a true story, though, it does show that not everyone has a happy ending. Both the students and the teacher deserved better, but unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way.

Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters

6.5/10 Cute popcorn movie, but I could predict every "plot twist" For a preteen fantasy movie though it was pretty good. My favorite part was the beautiful design of the hippocampus. THOSE COLORS!

Nephy; I love me some Percy, but that's mainly because I read and own all the books. I've been following it since the first book came out. I'm excited for the next movie though~

I recently watched Star Trek: Into Darkness, and I would probably rate it 8/10.
Though I've been reading all the comics and preludes so I was really excited for this movie.

I most recently saw Pacific Rim (What? I don't watch a lot of movies...) for the first time, and I give it a solid 9 or 10. Of course, that's just for my personal tastes; I know a lot of people who saw it were dissatisfied but I really enjoy optimism and robots so it was right up my alley! I'm not as much of a stickler for physics or realism either, which helped.

I just finished watching The Shawshank Redemption. It was really ~touching~, I cried a bit. Some of the features in it were similar to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, another movie that I really love so I didn't mind it. It's one of that 'classic' movies apparently and I understand why.
I give it an 8/10.

On Wednesday I saw Mary Poppins for the first time, with a friend of mine. And, um, it's interesting, I guess. Obviously, the character of Mary Poppins is awesome. The thing is, the movie was kind of boring. There was pretty much no plot until the last 45 minutes. Sure, it was entertaining, but that was mostly because I was with my friend and we laughed at lots of stuff that weren't meant to be funny. Anyway, I mostly only wanted to see it because it's such a classic, and I feel bad saying this, but I was kind of disappointed with it. I would probably give it 2/5 if I was to rate it honestly, but seeing as it's a classic, I feel really bad giving it a bad rating, I give it 3/5, because Mary Poppins is an amazing person.

So yesterday I watched Scott Pilgrim again for the bejilianth time. Like everyone is like 'OMG that was really weird and stupid!". But I love the movie. The concept of the movie is just amazing! I sound like a weird movie critic, but the use of the visual effects from the actual comic book itself is just so weird, it just makes it so good. And 7 evil x's? I just LOVE how when Scott is about to fight each 'x' there will be a hint. Either the number, for example when he fights the fourth 'x', there is a number 4 in the club, and other times there are 'x's scattered around. This one for example is before the second 'x', where there are 2 x's as Scott walks up the path. Also, on the trailer of Lucas Lee's trailer, there is a number 2 on it. Like OMG! I give it a 5/5. Or a 100/5. Either one.

Rented Thor the other night. Never read the comics, so I was expecting it to be more true to the mythology. It made me laugh though, so that's good enough for me.
