Yeah, I'm really excited about it. I'm taking 3 classes on campus and 2 classes online. Since I normally learn best listening to people talk I'm a little weary of the online classes but I think I'll manage. Next semester should be more fun, since they should be offering the classes that I want to take instead of me just taking classes necessary for my degree. >.<
The classes that I am taking are at night, Since Scott works all day and i take care of the kids and they don't have a 'day care' program it's the only time available for me to take the classes...but they don't seem to have many classes offered at night. </3

Angel Spirit Girl: I've considered going back for my masters but I don't know what I would major in at this point.

Morning Rue!

Mellie: That is where I am different. I don't want to sit in a room and listen to someone talk for an hour. I get bored and distracted and am liable to fall asleep, kind of like a mom reading a child a bed time story, lol.

I slack off if there isn't someone telling me what I should be doing. XD Give me a book to read and I'll skim through it and go.... k. Lecture me on it and make sure that I read it and I do. At least in high school. I'm going to be attempting to change my programming this semester. That way I can take online classes next semester that may not be as easy as the ones I am taking now. (chemistry, bio2, pre calc etc)

Angel - I just finished my masters in Library Science . .well, I finished last September. I'm still looking for an entry level library job that pays more than $10 an hour:evil: Most jobs I'm finding pay less than what I'm making as a secretary - and with student loans I can't have that - or they want many years of library experience (which I don't have).

I am glad I got my masters - reminded myself that I am a smart and capable person - but I'm also really annoyed that I did all the work and can't find a decent job in the field I majored in. :/

My uncle was an english major... but randomly worked at UCLA's library for a few years. I think he had connections to get the job but I remember him saying that it paid well. :P

With the degree I have (Business/e-Business) I can major in Business but that means that I will be a middle manager somewhere and my experience with the corporate world has shown me that those jobs are the first ones to get cut (I've been through 4 major reorgs in 7 years) and I'm not really interested in that. Someday I want to go back to school and take all of those classes that I couldn't before, like art or something. Just something to do.

Yeah - I wish Drexel had more liberal arts classes I could take. I had a sculpture class I took my senior year at Immaculata and I loved it . .I would love to be able to play with clay again.

I did get to take an undergrad english class here - it was Science Fiction - really neat and turned me onto Ursula K. LeGuin

I would love to take classes like that. When I first got out of high school my father was like, no way are you taking that dippy hippy liberal crap... so in a way I feel like I missed out.

I wanna take more art classes. >.< But I don't like that the supplies are so expensive. XD They last for a while though... and are something I enjoy. I guess later on when I can reasonably afford them would be the best time to do that. Even if they don't count towards my degree.
are there any CC's near you Sia? They normally have quite a few random elective classes to take. I know my college has ceramics and a bunch of other things.

I think I want to work as an elementary school librarian.

I have a Masters in Archival, Museum, and Editing Studies, but could only get a job as a clerck in a store in the mall. >.<

Ohh . . . I know at Drexel our library science degree does have a concentration to be a School Media Specialist. . or something like that . . . some school also require teaching certification for their librarians . . . . sucks we spend all this time and money on fancy degrees and can't get a decent job >.<

There are community colleges .. but I don't want to pay to take classes, I may eventually . . . I get free undergraduate classes at Drexel so I think they should get some classes I want to take, it's easier that way and saves me money :XD

It's a pity that we work so hard in school, and then don't get anything from it.

My Aunt's cats loved to play in the litter box, and her dog liked eating it... and her cats liked to eat the dog food... lol. Her cats are weird though... one likes ice cream, one loves chicken, and the other loves lettuce. One growls and wags his tail like a dog, and another one loves to lay under the bed covers. It's kinda funny... go into the bedroom and see a nice made bed with a lump underneath and here it's the cat... lol.

Every morning when I'm working I'll turn a corner on the street and there will be about 8-10 kittens playing all over. They just freeze and then stare at you as you pass. Everytime I see them I want to get out of the car scoop one up and take it home, specially this little all black cat who is so fricking cute. But I have a feeling they are wild or growing up that way because if I was the owner I wouldn't let little kittens outside at 3am playing in the road, under cars and just everywhere.

One of my cats will lay in the litter box that has been freshly scooped or has been cleaned and new litter in it. It's just so strange.

Roo- I'm still working towards my associates! so don't feel bad. .

and fflur, you should be able to transfer your classes from your last college to a new one around you. They might not all transfer but some credits are better then no credits. >.< I was one semester short of my associates in CA and I'm a year and class behind now. XD

I believe they have "expired" or were non-transferable outside of CA. I attempted to try again when we got out here, but I can't remember now why I couldn't without starting all over again.

No need to feel bad at all - Chris has been taking classes for at least 5 years and he's just now. . finally . .a junior . .which means 2 more years before a degree since he's going part time
