hummy: i know! his dad just gave him $500, and he got paid about 700 twice... so where did all that money go?? had to have been buying EXTRA food, to feed his brother! I blew through about 400 dollars in food money because he was over eating. hhmmmppphh maybe this will teach hubby now, that his brother can't be over here. (don't get me started again, lol, this will be all i will wanna talk about! :P)

he seriously needs one! but as father in law said, "no girl is want him if he's living with his mommy, and mooching off everyone else" LOL!

Sounds like a real pickle you're in!

jean- eh it's ok. we are always in a pickle! never a dull moment around here! hubby think we should have stayed in our apartment, but you know, i think it would have happened over there too. doesn't matter. we never have money this time of year. we mostly live off our income tax return money... hubby likes to spend it... :(

My father was always like that.
If there was money, he felt he needed to spend it.
My Mom used to hide money from him.

Now my hubby on the other hand is a real miser.
I have to talk him into spending any money at all.

my dad is like that too. i used to be, but lately i'm the one who is the voice of reason saying "you sure you have enough money for that?" not sure what happened to hubby.

glad you don't have over spending issues at your house! it's really stressful!

Well, now that we're retired he just stresses WAY too much about money.

Our finance guy says that we are just fine, but he doesn't see it that way.

I do whatever I want.

During the summer we get in the RV and head up north to visit family, and to just knock around to different places and sight-see.

This fall/winter we're going to do some work on the house.
I'm FINALLY going to get my wood floors.

Working at IBM for 32 years was actually like working at many different companies.
I was in Rochester for 10 years, Raleigh for 5, and Austin, TX for the rest.
(IBM used to mean "I've Been Moved").
Within those places I've actually had different careers.
First as a SW programmer, then as a Manager, then as a Technical Lead, then as a Project Manager, and finally as a Program Manager.

Traveling would probably be the best part, for me.

I just arrived to Germany in August. I have to be here until september 2014. Then, yes, I am free. DONE :D

Ha... I've been moved. Nice. But at least you did get to travel. Some people don't like it tho. Hmmm. Wow. So... that seems like a pretty interesting job that you had. Seems like it would take up a lot of your time tho :(
