Id be down for a more RP-ified version. it hink that would make it a bit more like the real version too where it becomes easier to notice discrepancies and such making the mafia more likely to be pinpointed.

And that will be absolutely fine! In a game without the constraints of the event, Day phases can last for up to 3 to 4 weeks for big groups, and at least 5 days for 9 or fewer, or until a lynch is achieved. There's plenty of time.
What do you think about adding a roleplaying aspect for the next game? A few players seem to enjoy being absorbed into their roles this game and I thought it may be an interesting thing to implement! I will just need a short description of the character you'll be playing once you receive your role PMs.
Yea I agree that would make it more fun I watched in some of the other threads and seen one thread using role play, it actually made it look a lot more fun.
I would have liked to roleplay more but my no one in my group seemed to be into it so I didn't do much in that respect. To be honest chatting about pizza or knitting or stuff like that kind of annoyed me because it muddled the investigation but if it were in character it would make more sense.
I'll be doing a quick count of users who're interested in playing another Mafia game with RP implemented! We're looking at at least 7 days of Day Phase and 48 hours of Night. More players would mean I'll be able to give out more unique roles, which may make things more interesting for the players.

Oooo! I would love to play another story. I think maybe adding the backstory to our PMs might help the roleplay better. Also, maybe if we could play a little before the actual first murder happens then maybe it might help the story line.
