To begin my questing, I am buying the following common items.
I am hoping to pay around 60-70 percent of store price for them:

I never wanted to make a blacklist for this shop. I figured Mene was good enough that I would never need one. Apparently this is not the case. When you offer on items and ask me to hold for you or sell to you, I expect common courtesy when it comes to the deal.
My expectations are in-line with the exchange guidelines to exchange behavior and I expect that it be paid on time, in the right amount, and isn't canceled for whatever random reason once I've accepted the offer. Not only that but the user shouldn't be going out hunting the exchange to try to buy from someone else once you've agreed to purchase from me. That's common sense. It's common decency.
There is one person on this blacklist. Let's keep it that way.

And I have seen a couple offers on the exchange (didn't look too hard) and they had like a Crown and a Mask in them? Something like that! But I need golds so...I dunno. haha I'll have to get some input from everyone, because I don't know the economy here like I did on Gaia.

Bartuc told me that the price guide price is decently accurate/and that it is hard to keep up with the Pin prices as they are not up for sale often. Sooo I'm using it as a guide, but I am willing to consider anything if it piques my fancy. ^^
I'm not aching to get rid of it, but I think it would help me get some clothing (which I am in desperate need of, since I only have event items!). And out of all the items I have, this one may be considered a "duplicate" since I have both colors.
But again, I need gold. That's why I'm unsure if I want to trade for what seems like a really nice offer (mask and crown) because I already have both crowns, and the mask I am unsure I will use either. I'd likely have to sell a crown then if I took an offer with items in it.
The other Patty and Valentine's items I have, I only ever got one of because I didn't want to be like Tanariff, who I heard got in trouble. So they are quite unique for me and have a lot of sentimental value.
So I'm just putting it out there that I'm possibly selling!
(I also didn't know about the Menewsha character editor, so I will use it later today to see what the mask even looks like. ^^)

I am going to have to start writing my paper, but I wanted to let you know that I've decided on going for a combination of CI's and EI's I've missed (specific ones, I will find out this upcoming week) and a decent amount of pure.
I think that this is the best way to go, since blowing it all on commons isn't going to do the job, and I can't force someone to sell all their stuff on short notice - it's not fair to you, and I'll likely end up wanting to buy some CI's and EI's anyway.
I've come to realize that nothing in the stores is as expensive as this dumb gown, which I may just vendor anyway. And this is a pretty big revelation to me, meaning I could just earn gold up to get specific commons if necessary.
So - please do not sell your stuff, unless you think that it's absolutely necessary and nobody else will want it. Thank you!
Yeah, you only need one CI to equip every item from it at the same time.
The Pure Love Wings are in the Magic shop (latin name, can't recall what it is off the top of my head--Quercus something I think). That's not on the shop map. You have to go to the full shop list.
That's really cool! I'm surprised it isn't another way, like Gaia where they made a lot more poses just to make people contribute more. :/ This way it's like a nicer gift!

Backing up to the earlier conversation that you had with Wendy, I'd have to admit that I would rather have pure for my items because I am such a commons whore, but everyone is different. Its nice to have items sitting around too that build up to sell again later for more stuff.
Hey Seiki! It's good to be back, even if it's because I'm procrastinating from work I'm supposed to do. (Can't wrap my head around what to write for it, so I'm aimlessly searching articles while posting on Mene and Gaia.)
You do bring up a good point, that if I were to want more items later on, I could sell some of the CI or EI items, even if they were not items I really wanted. But from what I understand, those items that would be popular here on Mene are items I would want to use anyway. Thus, a Catch 22.
I don't think that I will have a problem with money after selling a Clover Pin, if I play my cards right. If I make 1K a day posting and gaming, that will still cover anything I want later. Assuming I put in that time each day.
But anyway, how are you? I haven't seen many familiar faces around, and I miss everyone from back in 07. I see the Whalecow lives on as the animal of the year. ^^

You know how to work a virtual economy anyways, so you'll have extra items and gold to spare in no time, I don't doubt it. Only drawback to having extra gold and items on Menewsha, is that there are so many really good commons on this site that you want to spend that extra gold on them. I have close to 1500 commons now, if not more, and I still want more. I've been working on getting rid of my hoards for over a year to get commons with and I still don't have everything I want. That's my Catch 22.
I'm doing well. I've been a little bored during the summer really, but I'm still hanging in there. I would like for things to pick up a bit so I'd have more to do with my time.

The Tetris gives me 500 gold per day it looks like, x 2 from 2 accounts (max 1 mule still right?) so that's the 1K per day. ^^

That's amazing how many commons you have! o_o I would love to have that many to work with. If that's the case, and you still haven't gotten it all, I have no chance to get them all - even if they are cheap, there's too many of them. :3
