Only fourteen people have looked at mine XD. I'm pretty private to, which is part of the reason I don't write often or really anything big...but there are times I just...want to get it out. I guess having someone hear me (even through reading) sometimes feels good.

I get that. I kept a written diary though part of college. No that I ended up making entries all that often by the end.

People have insulted me at times and said my longer posts and stuff are just a lot of fluff. I think their good but,...eh

Nothing wrong with writing a lot. It's all just preference in the end.

No one has ever told me my longer posts are just fluff, but I feel that way about my long posts sometimes...

But I don't write fluff very well. When I write my own fanfics or stories, it's all over-detailed anguish and me describing inner pain and turmoil rather than fluff.

I always feel like I dumb things down too much for my readers. Like, I over-describe things because I have a clear image of it in my head and I want others to see it THE EXACT SAME WAY. But the thing is, I am trying to learn to let go out that and let my readers decide for themselves what they want to picture.

Like, instead of saying, "Edith sat down on the large, green chair with the wooden legs in the shape of bones and pondered her escape." I am going to say, "Edith sat down on the large, green chair and pondered her escape." Because I shouldn't be wasting my time explaining the little details to my readers when I should be spending that effort making my plot better, making my scenes better and making the story progress.

I think that's where I trip up a lot even in RP. I get too caught up in describing little details that I find I don't progress in plot or really do much with my character. I can easily waste four good paragraphs on nothing but describing my character bending over and picking up something.

Ava is an infolder. I am an unfolder...or was it outfolder? Lol. They were terms I learned in a creative writing class based on an essay or something. infolders deal withe passive stuff more. going in and dealing with characterization, background, emotion, etc. As apposed to forward motion. It's supposed to be best to equal the two, but owning your style is best since it's fine to be heavy on one side or the other.

I definitely want to get better at being equal between the two!

I have so many ideas for stories I want to write, I've been working on them a little each day.

That's good. I have too many story ideas so I can't work on much in the end.

Having too many ideas is the worst! Especially when every idea is a freaking awesome amazeballs one.

I only have a couple of ideas right now so it's easier to work on a little at a time.

I feel a really nice surge or creative energy right now, which feels awesome. I normally get writer's block and then can't write anything for days, sometimes weeks and months.

I generally handle a very large amount of ideas at a time. And have more and more. Maybe not all fully formed things, but I want to play with all the ideas all the time. My muses are strongest in the creation stage.

But it's real nice to just have a few things to focus on. Good for you.

You remind me of the babies I work with. When they get angry and you try to pick them up they wiggle and its like trying to hold Jell-O. Except it's much scarier because it's a human!
