Half hour stretches are fine. Do you live near any stores? Cause you could always walk to a store, warm up in the store, and walk home.

Well I wanted to do 5 a week but... have less than 6 hours until midnight for this week and only got the one mile in. So need four... and sundown is in like 4 hours. So this week I'm failing that goal I guess. Will have to start stronger tomorrow so this doesn't happen again?

Just dont' give up. Sometimes you will miss your goals. Just say damn and move on.

I'm actually in the middle of the country... literally... nearest neighbor is 3/4 a mile away and the land around me is fields. The nearest small town (100 people) is 3-4 miles away. The nearest town is 25 minutes away. The nearest semi large town is 45 minutes away (where I go to see a movie or shop at walmart). So I'm a bit trapped... on gravel roads... with no track to walk laps on. Miss having a track and miss walking to cafes and coffee shops... and miss, generally, being able to get out.

thank you :) It is hard... yesterday we went shopping and spent the morning walking around Aldi and Walmart. Figured that counted though I won't put it in the chart haha.

Thank you darling :)

I've put off exercising for like 3 days now *cries* Not Good! So today I will walk to the corner and back. It is only half a mile, but perhaps once I start, I'll do more than that?

I'm afraid I haven't exercised much this week either :( Oh dear. But maybe now that I am flying out to see my dad, he'll take me walking?

How are you doing? I'd love to join you in your weight loss goals! I'm currently 248 and would like to get to 140 if possible. My first goal is to get to 200 pounds. I also think walking is a great way to start and i'm going to start this afternoon.

Have you tried myfitnesspal.com? you can log your foods and exercise! it's really helpful.

Please do! It is easier if you are trying to reach goals with others. I haven't checked it out but I will.

I'm now on vacation at my Dad's and they have stairs. We are also in town so I walk around the neighborhood. Just went for the first time a little bit ago. Going to update my chart :)

honestly Menewsha has worked best so far... which shows how sad I am at all this. watching what I eat isn't as easy. I have started watching portion sizes and holding back from eating more after I am full. :D

You don't have to eat healthy foods to lose weight, just watch portion sizes. Well I'll be here to help you and maybe you can help me too!

Oooh yeah sounds super fun! Did you go for a walk today? I did, I walked for 45 minutes probably about a mile and half or so. I've got a headache now, not sure if it's because of the walk or not.
