Same. I even spent money on that site and regret it all the time.
I can't wait to buy CI's on here though, much cheaper and the items are way better and the multiquip is a brilliant idea.

Was. I stepped down do to my life being busy at the time and the fact that I lost a lot of love I once had for Gaia after I became a mod.

A lot of my mod friends keep pestering me about becoming one again, but... eh. I just do not have the heart to do so.

Oh, it's fine. xD I was teasing, anyhow. I know that people have a lot of disdain for how moderators on there run things on Gaia, but... there are procedures to go through. Strict ones. At the same time, not all moderators can ban people - just the omni mods and/or admins. And I was just a Site Mod. Gave the warnings, moved threads, or just slapped people on the hands.

I've seen many friends banned for receiving hacked items; their account were simply banned so that the hacked item couldn't go to another account. That's what "profiting hacking" generally means. It's rather saddening to see, because a lot of times, they will not lock trades, but just ban.

banning does seem a bit harsh to me .. sure its understandable when it comes to actual hackers and the such .. but yeah

A lot of things have changed between then and now; things are a bit better, but people do still get banned. :/ It's mostly the older days where people were banned for receiving hacked items. Omni mods are under a lot of stress and pressure, though. They have the highest power just below admins/developers (I say this, because with a key stroke, they could shut down the site xD).

But I do know where people come from with the hate at mods. I've seen both ends, so... I know it can be warranted. And just because they are mods, doesn't mean that they can't be idiots. xD

I do know some people that are very nice mods :)
