Lol, my tablet is an old Intuos and it's around 7 years old xD; It's taken some abuse, so if I'm going to do this I might as well take it seriously and invest in a new Intuos3 tablet like I've been planning for the past year. I'll have to talk to mom to see if I can get one tomorrow and pay her back when the check from the excess of my school loan comes in. That's partly why I took out a little extra u-u It's better to get what I can with the student discounts before I graduate in May and the prices are normal ones and out of my range.

It'll be hard for some of the members since a great deal of the site is under 18. xD

I've never had a tablet. I've been working via touchpad for years. I have so little control it drives me crazy.

According to a friend of mine they've got a decent one up on amazon for 50 bucks.

I really don't think I'm qualified for this anyway. My CGing really isn't my strongest work. Traditional is more my thing. And my schedule is way too spazzy with all my time in the theater.

I'm in the consideration mode. I've planned on a new tablet anyway, so it shouldn't be a huge deal if I buy one now.

But like lilis, I am a college student and a senior in my last semester. At once that makes it a tough call because my time may get a little limited on that front, but on the other hand if I happen to get lucky and be chosen it's a potential job opportunity in some extent. So if I apply, I have to decide whether I can start as soon as chosen (in the event that I am) or if I wait until after I get my BFA in May. I'm hoping that with that degree in Communications Design, specifically illustration, I could potentially be qualified. Hoping is the key word >>;

Traditional is also my stronger suit, but I am not a stranger to digital. I need to get back to it anyway to become more versatile an artist.

Are other programs such as Paint Shop Pro acceptable?

I assume this is open to all users, not those who are in the UK, USA or any other regions? If so, when said artist is hired and they want money, how will you handle payment from another country?

Example; I live in the US. Since Mene is stationed in the UK, how would I be payed? Check, Money Order, electronically?

* Other graphical work that does not fall under the task of Pixelists as needed
