My favorite character is probably Legato Bluesummers from Trigun. Not only is he ridiculously shezzy (as far as lines and ink go), but he's so delightfully evil. Plus I just love how he got Vash to break his oath of not killing. Suuuure Legato was the one who was killed, but HE STILL WON. So.awesome. <3

And his hair was blue. That automatically makes him awesome. I want his haaaaair!

However, the figure who ties for favorite is Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena. She's one of the few strong-willed girls in an anime who doesn't come across as a bitch or utterly annoying. She's strong, she's awesome, and Utena is just an awesome series. I mean, how many girls become so captivated by a PRINCE that they want to become a prince themselves? Yeah, you read that right. Utena doesn't want to be a princess. She wants to be a goddamn prince.

My favorite would have to be...Sakura and Syaoran. From many different animes/mangas such as Tusbasa: Resorvir Chronicles, and CardCaptor Sakura. I just love then together! But then I also LOVE Zero from Mamotte! Lollipop. Zero has spikey blue hair and a little bit of an attitude problem but that just makes him all the more adorable! Inuyasha is also way up their. He is so HOT. I love him as a hanyou but with his black hair in his human form he is irrestitable.

Oooh, I love Sakura and Syaoran too! =D They're like...awesomely awesome.

I like how CLAMP made them more mature-looking. It was kinda hard for me to imagine any relationships for them when they're 12. xDD

My favorite anime male is special, shiny and NEW! See, he originally came from a game.. But now that Tales of Symphonia has an OVA.. >:3 He's fair game.

I LOVE Regal Bryant to death. He's so sweet and so.. masculine while not being masculine. And he's such a submissive! I love the ZelosxRegal pairing.

My favorite female.. Probably Lina Inverse from Slayers. So many of the more modern female characters are awful. They're sweet and cute and stupid but deep down, they're strong and bold and smart! It's just.. ergh. Lina was just different, though. She was like the anti-female in the series. :3 Naga was pretty amusing, too.

My favorite male characters are Fate Averruncus from Negima, and Gaav from Slayers. Ever since I saw Slayers Next a few years ago, I've loved his personaily. :). Well, what we get to see of it, anyway. As for Fate, I don't know that much about him, but he seems like such a fascinating character. Plus, what I HAVE seen of him, I like. :)
As for females, I'd have to say my favorites are Sylphiel Nels Lahda from Slayers, Asuna Kagurazaka from Negima, and Kaitou Jeanne from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. Sylphiel acts like a nice person to nearly everyone, and is also a very powerful healer. She also is very determined, and would do anything for the one she loves. Asuna is a very interesting character, and I like her personality- there aren't too many characters who have the temper she does that don't regularly beat up the main character. She's one of the few that doesn't. She's also very determined, and a pretty powerful fighter, for just a normal school girl. As for Jeanne, I like how she can still fight, no matter what happens to her(and I've always liked her character design.)

I don't know if I can pick one. Right now, my favorite might be Abe or Mihashi from Oofuri. Otherwise... Agh, I don't know, I like a lot. :(
