Both it all depends on the quality of the art and the way the story is.

I prefer anime because you can actually see everything in colour and you can actually see things happening and hear the characters talking.:)

I do enjoy the manga more hands down. Mostly because there are no pointless fillers owO.
But sometimes I can get into the Anime when it feels like it is the same in almost every aspect. I know I'm picky but I read then watch and it's hard when you know how it went and they don't do it :sarcasm:.
The only Anime I refuse to watch is Bleach because it just makes me mad how off they go with it.

Hard to choose because yes you do hear and see action in anime, but it tends to have lots cut out that the manga tends to have originally.

i like manga more because its more of what the actual author wants or writes. anime tend to drift sometimes from story lines. And FILLERS ugh hate them with a passion. yes once in awhile theres a good filler but god a whole freakin arc. anyways i prefer manga over anime although mainstream anime look good most of the time

Personally, I like manga better, but that's probably because I never watched anime, My sister and brother always made fun of me so I always felt embarrassed to watch it, so with for me it was less embarrassing to buy the manga. And besides I think reading is better because you can use your imagination more like voices and color. Who knows, you can make the sky red and the grass purple if you wanted to.

I read manga but if I'm up-to-date with that manga then I watch the anime so I can be up-to-date with that anime.

Anime. But the only manga I would go out and waste my money on is Shaman King. That shit is addicting. I have volumes 1-24.

I think mangas better mostly because when you go from manga to anime lots of plot and story line gets lost, or they just add in a lot of things that never happened. like with fullmetal alchemist, the anime was nothing like the manga... V_V still was a really good show. But anime does have it bonuses.... i think... :P

I like both anime and manga. ^^ For each individual series, my preferences vary. Rarely ever do I dislike the manga but love the anime, but in many cases I find the anime to be highly lacking in comparison to the manga. Mostly though, if I love one, I love the other.

It depends on what I'm in the mood for. If I feel like mindless motion watching, and relaxing time, I prefer to watch anime. If I feel the urge to read, then I will pick up a manga. At the moment, I'm waiting for a real book to come in the mail, so I'm not in the mood to read anything else, and right now I would want to watch an anime instead.

It really depends I guess.. If I'm feeling more lazy I will usually go for the anime, but sometimes I also go for the manga.. It really depends.

Definitely manga. Deeper storyline, more detailed and beautiful artwork... and you can stop at one page to stare at the beauty as long as you wanted to!
Too bad there's no voiced manga. =3

Manga all the way.
You get so much more out of it when you read the series.
Anime tends to add useless stuff. Examples, Naruto and Bleach. :/

for me it depends. sometimes i prefer the manga other times i prefer the anime. and then sometimes i like both. it just annoy me if they change the story or make the anime longer then the manga like marmalde boy. that anime series was way longer then the manga and some of teh things in the anime were not in the manga at all which kinds of kill it. in my opinion

I always prefer the manga. You get the real story that way.
Not that I don't like anime...I love that too! But once I start reading the manga that an anime I like is based off of I can never return.
Example: Sailor Moon. MAJOR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ANIME AND MANGA.

Personally I generally prefer manga. I tend to prefer the artwork. Also I find that many animes end up with waaaay too much filler for my taste. Sometimes the filler is entertaining, but usually it bores me.
