"I do have to ask though, why were you following me?" The half-demon asked as he watched the elf, feeling a strange feeling in his chest as he did so. To Kerberos, it was a slightly familiar feeling to when he was close to his brother but it wasn't a family type of relationship. It was different, newer, and it had a slight sense of pain to it too.

The elf paused at the question, having been walking back towards the half-demon. He had to admit, it was a bit embarrassing to get caught following someone. "Curiosity, mostly." He admitted, shrugging. He was vaguely aware of an odd feeling of his own, though there was no way to really describe it, aside from unusual. He simply ignored it, figuring he would know what it was when he needed to. "My apologies... I did not mean to intrude or anything." He added after a moment of silence, feeling it needed to be said, for some reason or another.

Kerberos rolled his eyes at the last statement, "I've seem to come across quite a few stalkers in just one day. Though I must say your the most attractive one out of all of them." The half-demon said with a smirk as he sat back down under the same tree he had been under before, though to the right of the branches.

Shaorin tilted his head at the last comment, a small smirk crossing his lips while the half-demon's back was turned. "Interesting..." He murmured to himself, stepping forward to stand a short ways from Kerberos, simply watching him. He said not a word, before finally moving to sit near the tree as well, though a foot or two away from the other man, just to be safe. "Oddly enough...of all the people I saw to stalk...you too, seem the most attractive." He commented idly, stretching his arms out before folding them behind his head.

The half-demon couldn't help but arch his brow at the comment, a slight grin playing across his lips as he let his heart continue to flutter in its awkward dance before it took control of his brain. If only for a little while, though what he was doing was risky. In more than one way. Scooting over the few feet that kept them at a distance, Keberos grabbed the elfs face gently and turned it to face him before planting a rather surprising kiss on the lips of the elf.

Shaorin's eyes widened at the sudden contact, let alone the fact that it was a kiss. He froze, letting their lips linger together while he regained control. Finally, he pulled back, the bewildered look remaining upon his features. "W-why did you..? He stopped the question there, finding he was having difficulty speaking correctly, both flustered and confused at the same time.

As the kiss was broken, Kerberos blushed a bit seeing as he was surprised that he himself did such a thing. "I don't really know," He said softly as he looked away. "it just seemed right."

Shaorin blinked, taking in a few breaths to calm himself from the sudden surprise. Finally, the elf sighed, lowering his head a moment in thought. "I see..."He murmured softly, before looking up towards the half-demon, that strange feeling resurfacing once more. Finally, he cautiously reached forward, a slight blush coming to his cheeks. Gently, he guided the other man's face towards his, before connecting their lips in another brief kiss. As he pulled back slightly, his eyes searched Kerberos' face. "Perhaps....it was right..."

"So you feel the same way...?" Kerberos asked, a slight blush now going across his face. A blushing demon was a rare sight to behold, even more so one that seemed to be in love. "But... your an elf and I'm part drow, so how could we feel this way?"

Shaorin nodded as the first question was asked, the light blush remaining in his features, likely easier to spot than the half-demon's. At the latter question, however, he hesitated, having never bothered to wonder about it. Not that there was much time to wonder. "I...I don't know. But.." He trailed off, before offering a smile to the other man. "..does it really matter? Or would you let something such as that get between us?"

Kerberos couldn't help but blink a few times, "No..not really. I was never really accepted as a Drow anyways.." He sighed softly and looked to the west, the direction he had been heading. The half-demon felt more at ease with the male elf than he did with the female one he had escaped from only an hour or so earlier.

Shaorin followed his gaze momentarily, before leaning back against the tree, his eyes closed. "I was never mainstream among the elves, anyhow." He pointed out with a shrug. He hadn't lived among his people very long, so it was of little consequence to him in the end.

Finally, his eyes opened once more, looking about the woods that surrounded them, beautiful scenery, despite the Hume's working to destroy it all while. "So...where do we go from here?" He asked suddenly, realizing they hardly knew a thing about one another, let alone their destinations.

"I was heading for the nearest Troll city seeing as I know more Trolls than I do Humes." Kerberos said with a sigh, knowing that he'd have to pay back a few debts when he did get to the city. "It would take me a week to get there on foot but around three days if I flew..."

Shaorin nodded absently, his eyes still moving over the forest. "Trolls, huh? Haven't met a lot of them.." He commented with a light shrug of his shoulders. It was then that Kerberos' last words sunk in, and he turned his head to look towards the half-demon once more. "Flew? You mean....you can fly?"

The half-demon blinked a few times before turning to face Shaorin slightly, "Yeah though I don't like having my wings being seen all the time. Not to mention its a hassle with a cape." Kerberos said as he closed his eyes and leaned against the tree. "It's been awhile sense I've flown though."

"I see...I suppose they would be a hassle." The elf commented with a shrug, before leaning against the tree once more. He had no idea how long he would be content to simply sit there, but for now, he did not mind in the least. "Anyway...I had no real destination in mind.. just wherever I ended up, I guess." He explained with yet another shrug of his shoulders.

"Wandering is fun, though every once in awhile you need a place to actually go to. Or go back to a place that one calls home, which I don't have.." Keberos said as he looked up at the sky, a fragment of a smirk on his face though there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. Shifting his position slightly, so he wasn't squashing his tail, the half-demon continued to look at the sky. "Wandering is the only freedom I have left. If I settle down anytime soon, I loose that freedom."

Shaorin nodded his agreement, as he tended to believe much the same. It was unfortunate, though, not having a place one could call home. He'd had such a thing once, but gave it up to become a wanderer. "You have a point...though, you may run out of places to wander eventually, ...what then?." He murmured, more to himself than anything, his eyes closed as he simply relaxed, having nothing better to be doing.

Kerberos closed his eyes as he thought, letting a slightly awkward silence ensue before he spoke again. "Then...I'd find another world, or find someone who makes me feel...." The half-demon stopped as he opened his eyes to look at Shaorin, "That makes me feel like you make me feel...."

Shaorin couldn't hide the hint of a smirk that came to his lips, before he nodded his head. "I would likely do the same..." He agreed, before lifting an arm to rest his hand on the half-demon's shoulder. He was unsure what to do now, finding his gaze fixed on the other's eyes, keeping him locked in place.

((sorry for the absent-ness... was feeling quite horrible yesterday. Still not feeling altogether well today.))

"Ah, lost her little hatchling has she then? A damsel in distress it would seem... in a reptillian sense. I wonder if that's what that half demon might have meant by humans... Well no matter, I have not the money nor resources to help this poor mother. Perhaps that other fellow will find your babe for you ma'am." He replied mostly to himself but also to the lizard as though it understood him. He turned abruptly back to the drow and gave her another short bow. " Well lady Tal'bryn if you need an escort to where-ever you are heading, I gladly offer up my services." The hooded man grinned.

Tal'bryn looked warily to the reptile, merely shaking her head. She was still far more interested in getting away from it than anything. "I thank you for the offer. But...I'm afraid I have no destination in mind as of yet." She explained with a light shrug, turning to walk away from the beast once more--and away from the city nearby. She paused, glancing back towards the man. "You are welcome to come along, though, if you want." She said to him, before resuming her steps.

Aroath blinked and took a few seconds to think about this. "Well, it beats sight seeing. I sure hope we eventually stop off at a city and I will need to restock some supplies." He said easilly catching up and walking beside her.

Tal'bryn nodded her agreement, as she hadn't had time to get much in the way of supplies before her swift departure from the hume city. "Indeed." She agreed, letting out a sigh. "Hopefully we have enough for until then." She reasoned, knowing she had enough for herself for a short while, anyways. "Unless you'd like to head back to the hume city." She offered, figuring she'd merely wait outside the city walls in the meantime.

"Let me quickly check my bag and I'll see." He stated before shruging off a shoulder bag and digging through the contents muttering to himself. "Let's see, enough food for a few more days, wine bag...empty, bedding, flint, jars of various sizes, book, parchment, ink...hmm out of ink..." He blinked owlishly realising how he must be looking and quickly straightened up and shouldered his bag once more. I can last a few more days before having to erm rough it."
