Well she's finally stopped blaming mene.

She's being tested for colon cancer...

I've told her to treat me as her mene mommy. I've been too busy to actually PM her mommy about it. I will do eventually. I don't think she did anything wrong though. The newbie just seems to have a reluctance to come for help so her mommy probably just assumed everything was ok and didn't post stalk like I frequently do >_>

Yeah. I thought there was something deeper going on. Forgive her for being snappy? We're talking it through in her quest thread because she wants the gold (and I suspect she wants others to know too).

I try my best. But I'm not a very good person to offer real life advice. I suspect we're both sat at our respective computers crying on and off. (My uncle had cancer.) Talk about being the best and worst person for the job >_>

I'm sorry about your uncle, Angel.
My grandfather died of Cancer, but I was very young so I haven't been as affected by it.
You seem like you're very good at giving life advice to me.

It's ok. He was my dads cousin and he survived but it was so hard whilst he had it. And cancer is never cured only in remission. So it could come back. I'm not going to tell her that though. Just that he survived.

I had 6 deaths in my final highschool year. Plus cancer in my uncle. And well that's just 1 year... I'm possably the most experianced person to come to, but I really do suck at actual advice. I'm more a sympathetic ear. Someone who'll keep poking at you till you vent, then listen and be there for you whilst you get it off your chest. ^_^

But anyways, now you know why she was so snappy. It's nothing personal.

Sometimes a good listener is the most helpful thing in a situation like this.
She can get health advice from doctors or research on her own, but probably not as much sympathy and patience.
