As Spiritus looked about to approach she raised one slender eyebrow but said nothing. Perhaps he was getting the hint she wouldn't help him after all? She had needed protection and a family once before he got his soul but she didn't need any now. She was only even intrigued by him at all because she was curious how he'd gained a soul for her to sense, she had always believed it impossible. Hell most demons she knew thought it impossible and the hunters association also believed it. She couldn't help but be curious how he had.. but that soul didn't mean she'd open herself up to him. She'd succeeded quite well in making her heart that of stone, or so she believed until her mother's apparent twin walked through the door.

The feeling the sacred bow gave her from the five demons would have been overwhelming to most but it did not compare to the sight she saw. Those violet eyes which matched Neveah's own, that nose, the curve of her cheek.... It was her mother and a group of girls who could have been Neveah's own sisters. For once that face that had been ice even as she yelled words of hate at her father and rippled with uncertainty at being called someone's kitten again shifted. There was a look of pain that flashed through those violet eyes that even her usual ice mask could not hide and for a moment she felt almost dizzy. Her mother... no.. not her mother she thought as she recovered herself.

The woman's hair was too short, her mother's had been the same length as her own, and her skin was too pale and tinted purple. Her mother's had been fair for her people but still darker then Madeline's and had the softest gold hue. Madeline's nose was also slightly different the Neveah and her mother's nose. All this talk of family and such had taken more toll on her then she had expected Neveah decided absently. Still the resemblance was remarkable and possibly dangerous..... being Neveah was the spitting image of her mother herself so was much like Madeline with a bit of a pallet swap on her skin and longer hair. What would this group of sisters think of some unrelated halfbreed looking so much like Madeline? Would Avaddon even have time to tell her why she'd been invited here before a fight or other drama broke out?

Sicilia was surprised when the fire blast came at her. She could have sworn she had stayed in the shadows and stayed quiet. When he left she thought for a moment. Sienna had told her to follow him but she wouldn't be able to now that he knew she had. She knew Sienna would be dissapointed so she just went back to her room in the head building. She would wait for Sienna to return from her meeting. She could sense power in him. Who was he? She stood there looking out the window as she waiting for their meeting to be over. She picked up some papers and began looking through current events.

After stepping into the large building's lobby, the silent clan leader had made his way over toward the couches by the piano area. Taking a seat on one side of the couch, he had rested his elbow onto the side arm of the seat before shutting his eyes closed. The only other noises and scents that had come to Avaddon's attention was those of the other lesser demons that occupied the entire building, since the building wasn't under any of the other clans' control it had allowed many families of lesser demons to use the place as either a small hotel where they could stay or simply a safe haven from them to be away from the clans' drama. There have been many times the building had been used to unite lovers from separate clans due to the leaders having no say in anything since they were out of anyone's control.

While he had continued to sit there to focus upon his surroundings in case there were any other demons in the room who wanted to start trouble because of one of the leaders of one clan already coming in, the last thing Avaddon had expected was the question that had came from the strangely scented demon female. She seemed to had wished to know why Avaddon had invited her to this meeting of the clan leaders, once he had reopened his eyes he couldn't help but raise a brow towards her question, he had thought for sure that the letter had stated the reason behind why but maybe this female knew better then that. Whatever the case was, the blue-haired male simply shrugged his shoulders lightly to her question. "Well..as I'm sure enough from what Zeta and Omega had told me earlier. You aren't exactly part of any of our clans..so this can also be a way for you to understand how our city works and for you to decide where you would want to join in the future..you may decide not to join any in the end, but it doesn't mean you cannot simply make friends with others around here." Obviously enough Avaddon had put aside the fact that the female's scent of demon was indeed strange, whatever the reason was he would make sure to figure it out later on rather then simply bring it up out of the blue and in front of some many people.

It wasn't long before the sounds of the twin steel doors had reopened once again did the blue-eyed demon take his attention over toward the entrance. Once more, two familiar demons he had recognized had entered the building only to seem that the two of them were also quite wet. The second leader of the four clans had now arrived, Seinna of the serpent's kiss clan. As usual, her appearance was never of her true form as she seemed to arrive into the building with her male form. Sooner or later, the four clan members would have to show their true form to make the meeting fair for one another to believe that no one was hiding anything. Following her was none other then Cage, he wasn't exactly a leader of the clan but to many other lesser demons he was considered the second in command. It may had taken some time for all the demons around the whole city to accept such a thing, but it indeed did be come to known that Cage had deserved the spot for second in command.

"You don't have to simply stand there like a statue you know..if you wish, you may go explore around the area. Just do not go to the elevator just yet, many of these floors to this building can be..dangerous but as well you can end up interrupting others on their..personal time."
He explained to the female demon once more as the scent of alcohol soon came into play, the immediate scent of it had caused Avaddon to quickly enough take his attention away from Seinna and Cage as he simply leaned forward with both his arms now resting upon his knees and his gaze toward the black carpeting below his feet.

Yet again, another familiar scent was now heading towards the building as this had caused the blue-haired demon male to raise his head toward the entrance to the room once more. Tilting his head only slightly to the side when the male from earlier who spoke of Avaddon and him meeting one another soon came into the picture. This male had indeed been mysterious at first glance when he had first met him but yet strangely enough, even if it might've not been completely obvious of who he was, when he had turned his back to speak with Seinna the identity of the man was immediately revealed. The Bloody Moon clan leader, figures. He had known for a fact that the demon male's scent was no doubt familiar but Avaddon simply couldn't put his finger upon it just like that of the female demon's, however her scent was much more difficult to figure out for some reason.

The conversation between the Bloody Moon and Serpent's Kiss clan leader was none of Avaddon's concern, so he had kept his own mind to himself and returned his attention back upon the female demon as he awaited her answer to his response of her question. Just as he was prepared to close his eyes and take his head downwards, yet another demon presence had stepped into the large lobby. However, the difference for these demons was slightly difficult to figure all out at once since there were about five of them coming in all at the same time. Soon enough after about a minute or two, when the twin doors slid open, it was none other then the Draca family of five sisters. Each clan leader and any of those who were close to the clan leaders knew about these sisters even if it was only a tiny amount. These sisters had a long past that nearly no one knew about but the clan leaders should've all known at the very least that these sisters were not part of any of the four clans.

With a deep exhaled sigh, Avaddon was now able to shut his eyes for the second or third time as he rested himself there in hopes that the last leader; Ravinca would soon appear here. As he thought through the facts that how the leader of the Ravinca clan would soon approach the lobby, the blue-haired male demon had hoped and prayed in the thoughts that the Bloody Moon clan leader wouldn't jump upon their back and cause a whole giant battle to break out in the meeting room.

"I doubt that joining any will be necessary. I don't tend to stay in one place long....still this city does seem very different then most so it's really interesting! Just how does this city work anyway?" She responded as Avaddon's voice pulled her back to the present. She continued that smile that never quite reached her heart and asked the question rather off handedly, as if it had only now occurred to her to ask. She had to focus, she couldn't slip up! Her emotions had already prevented her from killing her father simply because he gained a soul and now here it could be far more dangerous. So she would be light, curious and gentle...... even if it required she keep herself from looking at those two.

She didn't really now how to react as he spoke of her being a statue. Wasn't this meeting about recruitment as well? That was the only reason she could see in what he said to invite her, another demon in his clan. She didn't buy the whole friendship thing... then again maybe that was simply because she couldn't. He didn't seem to be lying, none of her instincts went off to say it was wrong. So why couldn't she take the words at face value? Perhaps she had been doing this too long. A job like hers, killing those who preyed on the weak, could get to anybody...

She glanced back at Madeline, that ghost of her mother it stirred in her memories. Why she was doing it had even changed.... justice for her mother was already impossible. Sure she could torture and kill her father but would that really be justice? Upon getting a soul he would have become someone so radically different from the soulless hellspawn that killed her mother that nothing of the one who actually hurt her mother could be found. It would be like killing someone who just looked like him, there was no justice in that. She had lost her reason for living, destroying the one who had done this so no one would have to go through what her mother did ever again. Quickly she turned those blank eyes back to avaddon, she couldn't think about all that now. Processing it had been difficult enough, deciding what to do now other then continue her job just because she was needed was not something she could really do here. Everything had changed... yet nothing had changed.

"Do you play?" She asked as she indicated the piano with one hand. She figured it would distract from her momentary inattention and likely day dreamy look. Like all the men and women here he was gorgeous so hopefully he would think it had just been some infatuation with him or others if she had shown anything in her cold features. The horror and shock of seeing someone so like her mother had likely only flickered in her eyes if at all so it was possible some other emotion could be attributed to it. Yes... It would be easier that way.

So that was the reason he couldn't really recognize the female demon's face from anywhere within the city. She never stayed in one area for too long, there hadn't been many wandering demons for quite some time but it was true enough that even outside of the city there still were demons who didn't like the whole fact that they were to live in a city where they could remain safe and away from humans who wished for their deaths. Giving a light nod to the female, when her question of how the city had worked came up, he had only reopened his eyes for a moment only to glance up at her. That much was strange, even demons that wandered around the planet and despised the fact that there was a safe haven for demons to live upon, they even knew about how the city had worked with how the four clans protected any and all demons that came into it. However, rather then questioning her on why she would ask that Avaddon kept a clear mind and simply answered the question. "In this city..as you know already. There are four clans. Mine which is the Black Rose, that man you had met earlier leads the Bloody Moon. The woman by the Bar leads the Serpent's Kiss and the final leader has yet to arrive but she is the one that leads the Ravinca. All four of us control one large section of the city to ourselves with the help of our other clan members. We have vowed upon our lives that we would protect any and all those who enter the city as long as we still breathe. Other then that, the city itself speaks simply for itself. It is a home for all demons where families can grow and raise their children to be proper rather then plain evil demons that we are mistaken by the humans..as you said, you have not stayed in one place for long. I am sure you've seen many cruel things both humans and other demons who have no order have done."

After finishing up his explanation about the whole city, his gaze once more had landed upon the five sisters of the Draca family. It had seemed as though the female demon had also taken her attention upon the sisters as well, curious onto what she had in her mind that made her look almost as though she were in some sort of daze, Avaddon gave a light sigh as he continued to await for the final clan leader to show up.

The one thing that had caused him to redirect his attention back onto Neveah was when she spoke back up with her own question about if he had known how to play the piano. Shifting his eyes over onto the piano which seemed almost as though it had never been touched from how clean it looked, without so much as a word Avaddon had helped himself up to his feet before making his way over toward it. "Only a bit. Not something I tend to have time for..but seeing as that the Ravinca leader is going to be taking their time getting here.." Running his right index finger along the seat of the piano, he had ended up finding not even a single bit of dust built up on the tip of his finger before shaking his head at the thought. Indeed, the piano seemed almost as though it was just brought into the room, there hadn't been a single demon that actually played the instrument.

Not wasting anytime to take a seat upon the black piano's bench, he had taken a few breathes to himself before extending his fingers to play a song. Throughout most of the song, Avaddon had kept his eyes directed toward each key he ha played. The song itself was taught to him by his mother before she had gone to the last meeting with the four clans and never returned.

"I see, I'd heard rumors but I hadn't been sure." She responded simply as she smiled at him. She did not respond to his comment about seeing terrible things. Most of her life had been spent seeing terrible things and putting a bullet in the cause. It had been so long... she didn't even really feel it anymore. The horror of the deaths of children, the violence, the mutilations.... it had grown normal to her. Somehow that seemed somehow more terrible that it meant nothing to her now then the actual violence could ever be. She still had a soft spot for children but sometimes...... it really felt like she was turning to ice just as her people had expected she'd been born as.

She nodded as he spoke again and half expected he would not play from his words. Absently she noted his look, so he had noticed? He was sharp it seemed, she would have to be careful. Still, she had asked that question so it would be better if she listened to him play. It would seem odd to walk off now... So instead she turned and leaned against the piano slightly before crossing her arms. She let her eyes flow absently over the room, occasionally lingering on the leaders. The information had really been given up rather readily. Was it because she looked so harmless? or was it simply because their security was so lacking? or were they that certain of their power?

As she mused this thoughtfully she began to listen to the music and for a moment a ghost of a smile crossed those features. She closed her eyes briefly, absently observing he was rather skilled despite his words. Briefly her face looked rather gentle and soft as she couldn't help but find a bit of humor in his choice of pieces. It matched her mood rather well, being there was something bitter sweet in it. It felt like it was reaching for joy much of the time but somehow would fall back into that bitter sweet feeling. Was it his mood or the notes? Who knew... she just knew it reminded her of how she had felt seeing someone who looked so like her mother.

Once the music from the large black piano had began to ring throughout most of the building itself, most of the chattering from all the other lesser demons that spoke with another about their own subjects had soon come to a stop only to turn their different colored eyes of each one of them onto the piano. However, even with all the eyes of the other demons staring upon the piano and obviously trying to figure out who was playing it, Avaddon was completely unaffected as he stayed silent only to continue playing to the end. The only time throughout his entire song did he actually notice a slight difference was when Neveah had ended up leaning her body against the large instrument. For a single moment, that was probably the only part he had nearly messed up in his song but quickly fixed his mistake by continuing throughout the song to finish it up.

After another two or three minutes into the song, Avaddon had pressed the final keys onto the black piano before letting his hands pull away from the keys themselves. By the time he had finished up his song, the room had laid silent for a bit before the other demons had once more began to continue their chatting, at first it was obvious enough that their subjects had to end up starting about the reasons and what they had thoughts on how the leader of the Black Rose played the piano.

Taking in a deep breath for a moment, he soon exhaled his breath with a slight sigh before standing up to his feet and taking his glance upon the female demon who leaned against the piano. "Care to test it out yourself..? The wait for the final leader is taking much longer then expected." He stated before backing away from the bench to allow Neveah to have her own seat and try out the piano for herself.

She was slightly surprised when he almost made a mistake as she leaned near but she dismissed it as being as paranoid as she was or the weight difference. She felt the eyes turn towards them but though she opened her own she did nothing but let them watch. She would not run simply because lesser demons were staring at her.... she'd taken on groups of them before with no problem, besides they seemed..... peaceful. It honestly made her rather uncertain, they didn't seem to be judging her as she expected. Hunters, demons she visited, humans, there was always some feeling of judgement. Still, she was hardly the focus, Avaddon was. She was just an ornament on the piano for him to be impressing as far as the others were concerned and she as perfectly fine keeping it that way.

The only one here who seemed to know she was not a helpless damsel was ehr father and he was clearly politically minded enough not to dispel the illusion. She mused on this thoughtfully, her eyes on Avaddon's slender fingers and that pleasing smile that so easily fooled most on her lips. Perhaps being Avaddon's hanger on was a good way to stay unnoticed and as a leader of a clan he probably had pretty women dripping off of him for his status that she would not arouse any notice. Hell they might actually dismiss her more for it as some new demon after power via use of the bedroom. The one at the bar seemed to be more interested in men, one wasnt' there, and one was her father....... yeah Avaddon seemed the most pleasant and logical prospect to hang on to as a guide for now.

"I can try, but I don't play very well...... I mainly paint." She responded as he spoke to her and gave him a soft smile. Still, she did sit. She picked a random piece she'd watched played before and began to play it, with a few missteps rather deliberately though they were not harsh enough to stand out. Her skill was perfect but it seemed to lack emotion, more like a robot might sound if they tried to play. She really didn't practice piano or play at all, it was simply her ability to memorize what she saw and do it that allowed her this at all, like a tape recorder being played. She painted very well but it too had started from similar roots. There had not been camera's around in her day, after all, so she had to find someway to show people faces and such for her work and investigations. She ignored any looks as she finished the piece and laughed softly before she gazed at Avaddon.

"See what I mean? I'm a bit of an amateur at things like this."

" it is said that painting is a view of the artists soul, and that music is the sound of it" Spiritus said. " I wish there were more artists and musicians in the world. At times like this, a bit of music never hurt anyone, and art is beautiful thing to think on, instead of politics and war. " he said. He then looked at Avaddon. " Sire, might I have a word with you in private?"

Standing only a couple of feet away from the piano bench to allow Neveah to have enough space to feel comforted with sitting in front of the piano rather then feel as though he stood there to stalk her like a creeper. Even with her statement that she knew that she didn't play well at all and what she normally did for artwork was painting, he hadn't stopped her from sitting down or pressing the keys upon the piano itself. Throughout most of the time before she had began to even press down a single key, when she had spoke of how she wasn't good at playing he had thought for sure that the very first thing he would hear were going to be notes being played completely off key.

That seemed to had been the complete opposite of what he had expected to hear as he listened to her song being played. It was indeed true that her music didn't give off the true feeling of what she felt from within, the song played blankly throughout the room as the lesser demons had once again taken their attention upon the person as well as the instrument being played during the time. To the other demons, they didn't really seem to realize the difference on how the music had sounded as they all seemed to had been more at peace when music was played, it was quite an easy way to silence the room around them all.

Once finished and having heard that she considered herself an amateur at playing, Avaddon couldn't help himself but to let out a light chuckle. "You really do underestimate yourself, you were great. You simply need practice and must learn how to play what your heart tells you..rather then just press the keys. If you paint as you say..I'm sure when you paint, you don't just paint what you see..but you use what your heart tells you to use. It's the same process.." He informed before the sound and scent of a male demon coming up behind him caught his attention. Turning his head just slightly over his shoulder to see who it was, it was to be expected that the familiar scent was that of the male demon who took Neveah away earlier but as well considered the leader of the Bloody Moon clan.

"Indeed, you are correct. I'm shocked that you know much of artwork and music, as a leader I hadn't expected you to have time to study upon those things."
He stated toward the other male demon before raising a brow to his request to speak with Avaddon in private. Curious onto what this male had wanted from him, he had known well enough that there was no chance that it could've simply been some way to get the Black Rose clan leader into a quiet area to ambush him, not around here at least. "Uhm, sure I guess." After accepting the request, Avaddon had only turned to face Neveah for a moment before bowing his head only slightly. "If you'll excuse me. I must speak with him for a moment."

"I don't know about that... I have little feeling for making instruments. My talents have always laid elsewhere. Still I thank you for the compliments. Kind words are always appreciated." She responded to Avaddon as he spoke, only now realizing she'd silenced the room. She had deliberately tried to make mistakes to seem more amateurish but they hadn't seemed to notice. Did they listen to music that little or had her uncompromising nature just made her do too well? It was an odd thing... still her inner musings was interrupted by a too familiar presence she was only too aware of. Too bad, she'd actually started to enjoy Avaddon's company.... well as much as she did anyone's anyway which meant she didn't find him annoying... What dear Spiri said, however, did surprise her a little.

An artist soul... what did her art say of hers she wondered? Sure her paintings were always exquisite, always life like, beautiful, and passionate with a mixture of broad and fine brush strokes to give a feeling of movement as Neveah was one to do things well or not at all. Still, they also tended to be disturbing, gory, and disgusting considering what she was usually recording. Crime scenes, deadly runes, demonic battles filled with blood.... though she did have some paintings she hid to herself and to her knowledge no other living being had seen. They were ones of her mother, her village, a few children she'd helped, the flower whose scent she embodied, and various other natural scenes. Those were personal, private and none of anyone else's business.

Still, she had to wonder. Had he seen any of her paintings of any kind, did he know? She was wary enough of him and his tone neutral enough to wonder if he had. Had he seen anything? had he known she painted prior to her speaking? She knew that he'd lead her through traps, before he got his soul deadly ones that would have killed anyone weaker, but how much did he know of her outside her battles and her village? It disturbed her to know that she had no clue. She had been paranoid and always able to enchant various things to protect most of her private things but she could not protect everything alone. Her home had times it had been vulnerable in the past as she had to choose protecting it over saving something or another...... saving always won as Neveah held her sense of justice above all else. No, he didn't know. Why would he be interested in her life outside her skills? That was paranoid. He was just making conversation to get Avaddon's attention. That decided she nodded at Avaddon as he spoke to her again.

"of course. I'll just grab some tea." She said quietly, briefly a flicker of surprise passing through her gaze. Why was he giving her such consideration? Surely the leaders here were use to getting their way enough not to need to? Or did something about this place make demons more civilized just as the place her village had been once made demons more war like and cruel? She pushed away the thought and simply gave both men another of her distant smiles followed by a nod that was probably the closest one would get to a bow out of her. She stood and walked to the bar. Once she had ordered her tea she would pass her hand over it's side casually enough but her ring which was attached to the bracelet by a thin chain flickered. It was a simple test, clean and pure was the result. She always tested her food and drink that way... it was one of her best holy enchantments. She only then began to sip her tea, those distant violet eyes watching the room and occasionally flickering towards Madeline and those sisters. She looked related to them....

After what seemed to be an hour Zeta and Omega both found themselves in a park sitting on a bench as Omega fed birds, to Zeta it wasn't that strange to watch Omega do this Omega knew that the birds couldn't help being weaker then him and yet it still barely made sense to him Zeta watched the stars as they both waited for something to do.

Sitting down at a separate table, out of site from the rest of the people. "Thank you. I understand you've been under much stress. I know you've been dealing with the Rowdiest of my clan, sense no new leader was apparent until today, but I needed to keep to the Shadows for a bit. It wasn't easy, I tell you. "He said, writing something down. He then passed it under the table, to Avaddon. The note read : 'Do not change express, and talk normally. I cannot risk sensitive conversation this open. The women you were talking with, the one that had my scent? She is my daughter. She is a half-blood, from a.....bad encounter with me and her mother many age's ago. This was before I came to the city. She came all this way to kill me. She's a hunter'.

Spritus kept the same expression, as if they were talking about something perfectly normal.

After the leader of the Bloody Moon clan had moved over toward a separate table on the darker side of the room where most of the lesser demons had refused to go to for him and the Black Rose leader to have a chat with one another, Avaddon hadn't wasted anytime to follow him over toward the same table as well. Surely enough this conversation must've been important if he really didn't want any other demon to hear about it this badly. It wasn't long before the two had taken a seat down at the table did the first conversation come up about how Avaddon was under a lot of stress due to the fact that he was dealing with horrible clan members that came from the Bloody Moon. That much wasn't completely true but it at the same time wasn't completely false either, there had been indeed many problems with other clan members inside his clan members that had gotten on Avaddon's nerves a bit but it hadn't truly really stressed him out. "It is nothing you need to worry yourself with. They know their place and not to take their words too seriously with me. So I am fine."

The second part of the conversation seemed to had been more written upon a single piece of paper rather then spoken out loud for some reason. Once reaching underneath the table to grasp a hold of the paper, he had lifted it back onto the top of the table before reading it mentally to himself. At the slightest moment when the paper had read at how Nevaeh was actually a half blooded hunter who seeking vengeance against her father who just so happened to be sitting in front of him, just as instructed Avaddon had kept a simple normal expression across his face. Strangely enough, the information about how she was a half blood wasn't too much of a surprise to him, it had given away the fact of why her scent was so strange to him the entire time.

Only shifting his gaze over toward the female half blood by the corner of his eye for a moment, the blue-eyed demon male hadn't spoken up around the room instantly that a demon hunter which was also half blooded demon was among them all was due to the fact that throughout the whole time she was here, she hadn't killed anyone yet or even bothered to start anything. Giving a slight nod to understand everything that he was told by Spritus about the private conversation he wanted to have with Avaddon, he simply pushed the paper back over toward him to hold onto. "Was that all you wished to discuss with me?"

As she sipped her tea she absently kept her senses in-tune to the room around her. She noted the exchange of paper absently, still hyper aware of where her father was. The note was most likely about politics.... and probably a bit about herself. So two people knew she was a hunter now. Would there be a fight? She had killed many and there were hunters who would kill indiscriminately instead of focusing on criminals who targeted humans unlike her. She knew she couldn't win this one, the lesser demons milling around she could take on her own... but not escape if she did in such an unfamiliar city with no back up tohelp her escape despite the many wounds she would receive from the sheer numbers. There was also the matter of the leaders and a few other powerful demons such as the sisters that she sensed, they could kill her.

Still, if they wished to come at her she would not be afraid as she was always expecting to finally find that fight she couldn't win it was only a matter of whether it would be against herself or someone else. Her fathers lack of a soul during his conception meant she had a little piece of pure evil, a piece of hell inside her. Her destiny had always been to been to eventually degenerate into a mindless hungry beast that sought only to destroy because of that just like many other hybrids, or to be finally not quite good enough to take down her prey and die in battle because of her job. There was no happy ending, no miracle waiting for her she had long ago realized. It was just the way of things...... unless of course some variation of whatever gave her father a soul could be adapted to prevent the eventually degeneration the strength of her heart and meditation had been preventing so far. No, that was a foolish thought and the stuff of fairy tales. She wouldn't believe in such nonsense, she'd accepted her fate a long time ago.

Oh well, this fight could be avoided if that was what was meant to be. She calmly finished her tea and stepped outside onto the balcony, standing by a support so she could not be shot from a distant easily as that was her paranoid nature. She could listen to the party within from here and escape should they decide to go after her. Of course... no hunter was good enough to take on an entire city by themselves, best or not, so she doubted she could make it to her hotel and escape if they did. Still, it was a little disappointing. If she died because of her father she wanted it to be in a battle against him, not because he tattled and stirred up a group. Pity...

" I'm glad. I was worried there would be trouble. If it was withe the Ravinca's I wouldn't care, but you've done nothing to provoke us, and I see no reason to fight you" he said. He then slipped the note back, with new writing 'if any of your clan find out, tell them not to touch her, or I'll have to intervene myself. I'd rather not start a three-way war" it said.

As Spritus spoke about how glad he was that he didn't have to face two separate clans of his own race together at once, Avaddon had simply given a nod of his head to agree with his statement. True, the concern of fighting two clans at once wasn't really based off onto his own problem since in the end if some type of battle like that was drawn out there didn't really seem a chance for the Bloody Moon clan leader to survive two demon attacks at the sametime which should've been equally as strong as him. However, a battle like that was something Avaddon had wanted to avoid as much as possible especially when all four clan leaders had originally agreed that they would protect this city from any harm that could possibility be sent it's way. A war between the clans would him up breaking that agreement quite easily and who knew how many innocent demon lives would've been taken in the process.

Noticing as how the note was once more slid across the table to him with a completely different message written on it. The blue-haired demon had taken it once more into his grasp before reading it through, this time it spoke of any of Avaddon's own clan members starting anything with the female half blood would cause him to step into the problem. Shaking his own head as he had shook his head before sliding the note back across, the light sound of footsteps was the only thing that caused him to shift his eyesight to the corner to see who was walking outside. It was none other then Neveah, raising a brow at the thought that she somehow knew about the conversation the two of them had, he returned his gaze back upon the male in front of him. "There won't be that case. If anything..I'll stop them before it will come to that." Each word he spoke, he had kept his tone of voice calm and just slightly above a whispering tone to make sure that the conversation was kept silent between the two leaders only.

As the sisters became settled into the lobby, a heavy sigh had escaped the lips of Madeline. She was a little tired of all the running about, trying to see who wanted to see her and her family. Before she could reconnect what happened her eyes widen slightly seeing a young girl who looked just like her. Blinking lightly Miralee turned in Madeline’s direction and seen the girl, the resemblance looked remarkable, as if it was a lookalike of Madeline, only different. “You see it too then Miralee.” Madeline said in a trance voice. Miralee looked at her eldest sister and nodded, Miranda looked in the direction along with curiosity in her eyes, along with Mia. Mimi was too concentrated in placing with Madeline’s hair to notice what was happening. Mia looked at Madeline blinking lightly, “Sister, is it possible she can be related to us?” She asked softly, Miralee looked at Mia as if she was crazy. “I don’t think she is. It just happens that she just looks like Madeline.” She snorted. Mimi looked up at Miralee, blinking her large demon eyes as she turned her head to look at the group of demons and the girl they were talking about. “There are two mommies. I’m fine with this one~ she doesn't seem like a normal demon.” Mimi puffed her cheeks, hugging Madeline tightly. “Still...I’ll have a talk with her later. But in the meanti-...” Madeline was interrupted by the sounds of a piano playing in the lobby, she turned her head to see it was The Leader of the Black Rose, Avaddon. The sisters smiled as they listened to the gentle song float into the air and in the ears of the people there. Miranda smiled softly, “That was beautiful.” She said once the song was over. “Very, that was the leader of the Black Rose, he’s wonderful.” Miralee said giggling, Madeline looked over to Miralee and shook her head. She closed her eyes slowly then looked at Mimi who was looking back at her with her eyes open. “Yes?” Madeline asked in a gentle voice. “Mommy, since the older demons seem to be talking.” Mimi asked with a smile.

Madeline’s eyes widen blinking. Mia, Miranda and Miralee looked at their baby sister then back at Madeline, “You should sing, maybe the girl will be fascinated and come over for a moment.” Miranda said smiling. Madeline looked at her sisters as the eagerly leaned close to her. Madeline sighed softly, “Fine, I’ll sing a song but of my choosing. I don’t want to affect anyone in this room with my voice.” She said softly. Mimi cheered happily but knew Madeline was right. Since she had the power of song, a power which very little had completely understood and even less who had the power. The ability to affect demons and humans mental state. That power was a little too great. But Madeline had it and was capable of singing beautifully, but she had to be careful of the songs she sung. One wrong song and everyone in the room would feel strange. Madeline opened her mouth and started to sing the song. The song itself was to help the demons in the room a little, sort of like a confidence boost. Mimi smiled happily as he rested on Madeline’s lap, listening to the song as everyone in the room started feel a little more confident about themselves and maybe more.

After what seemed to be an hour Zeta and Omega both found themselves in a park sitting on a bench as Omega fed birds, to Zeta it wasn't that strange to watch Omega do this Omega knew that the birds couldn't help being weaker then him and yet it still barely made sense to him Zeta watched the stars as they both waited for something to do when out of no where two letters appeared beside them Omega ignored his and continued feeding birds.

Zeta picked up the Letter opining it and after reading it over a few times his jaw almost fell off "Son of a bitch looks like we have to go Omega" He said as he grabbed there sword and stood

Omega didn't even bother asking as he stood and fallowed soon after.

Soon after they left the found themselves in a building with people every where they could see a couple people the knew but they found themselves at a table talking about there last mission.

Notes.....to many notes. Her paranoia made her sure she was in them. It made her so tempted to just send a note to them... Something along the line of 'Just kiss already and stop passing notes!' Not because she genuinely thought either was gay... her birth proved that her father was more into women then men. No, she just wanted them to stop and figured making it clear that someone knew they were passing notes might just stop it. Still she knew better then to actually write it or send it, they were probably already inclined to cutting her down that would clinch it rather well. Hell, some might decide to kill her purely because of such a note. So she just sighed and shook her head.

Still, as she leaned back against the column she heard the woman that looked like her mother sing. She shuddered slightly, her mother had been quite a singer too. It didn't help that her bracelet flickered because of the magic within the words, though her immunity to mental magic kept it away from her mind. She couldn't tell what it was meant to do because of the block but none of the demons acted like it was something bad. Well..... that helped her paranoia.

"What am I even doing here?" She asked herself softly as she moved to lean against the railing with her back to the party for half a moment. It was driving her crazy... and she didn't dare go back inside even though part of her wanted to talk to Madeline. The voice was just different enough that if she did she might be more comfortable if she did, it could separate them in her head. Still with a sigh she moved back to the column after taking a few deep breaths. She leaned on the column again where she was mostly protected and could see the party. Damn those notes, she wanted to go shred them at this point. She wasn't made for this....

Parties and sitting still with no target, no purpose to the party but to hang out and watch. Politics were not her thing and her investigation objectives were to fuzzy and unfocused. She didn't know how to do this! She needed to essentially just hang out and listen... it was almost like actually attending a party as a normal being. Okay..... maybe she had needed a real vacation without someone to kill.... had she ever taken such a vacation before? hmm... As she debated this she felt the entry of another high level demon so her eyes slid to it. It felt like the other leaders to her... was this the last clan he had said he hadn't arrived yet?

The fire greedily consumed everything around her. The walls were burning brilliantly and the furniture was nothing but ash by the time she managed to grab her mother and head for the door. The black smoke curled about the small cabin, it's black fingers reaching out to embrace them in a deathly grip. Coughing and eyes blurring with tears, she finally knocked the door down and half dragged, half carried, her mother's seriously wounded body from the raging fire that was overtaking the cabin. "There they are! Kill them now!" She could hear the voices of the men who started the fire. "Kill them! Don't let them escape!" Still coughing and trying to clear the black from her lungs, she continued to drag her mother away from the burning house. That cabin was everything to her. Where she grew up, where she found love from a mother. Behind her she could hear the footsteps of the men closing in. There was only one thing she could do..

Kyra awoke from the nightmare with sweat dripping over her brow. "It was just a dream.. another dream." She gasped, clutching her knees to her chest tightly and wiped the sweat trickling down her forehead. Her hair was plastered against her face and her gown was sticking to her skin and damp from the sweat. Catching her breath, Kyra stood in the darkness of the woods close to the city. She was so close to the city she had been seeking for so long. The one that was a safe haven for her kind. Gathering her things into a pile she realized just how little she had come to own. A small sleeping bag, a canteen, matches, a cooking pot, a small tent, and a compass. Her mind began wandering back to the night where she lost everything, but she quickly shook her head and snapped back to reality. "This is it. I am finally here and I shouldn't put it off any longer." She said out loud to herself. "They can no longer chase me here.."

But the truth was that she was scared. Would she be accepted here? Would the demons rumored to live in this city accept her for what she is? A Half breed? Were the stories she had heard even true? Kyra was terrified that after years of searching the city she had always dreamed of, always hoped for would end up being a lie. She had no where else to go and her willingness to go on was fading fast. After losing her mother she had no one. No one to care about her, no one to talk to or to lean on. Would this city open its doors to her and welcome her? Or would she find it all terrifying? Kyra knew that demons possessed great powers, for she had one of her own, but would they be something for her to fear as well? Her own powers used to frighten her, so how would she deal with ones greater than her own?

She shook the thoughts from her head and packed her stuff into a large bag she carried over her shoulders and headed towards the entrance of the city..

"Thank you. You cannot begin to grasp how much of a relief that is too hear. "he said to him, with a light smile. He then stood up. "Thank you for the talk, but we should get this meeting over-with. The sooner I get away from the Ravinca Clan, the better, unless you want a blood bath. "he said, half-hoping he did.

With the Crackle and bang of Lightning and Thunder, No-one would notice Diavolo's escape. Over 15 thousand year's of imprisonment, in the sky she wished to rule, had not dampened her lust for knowledge. In fact, it made it stronger. All those year's, she's had nothing to do....but think. With a Mage, their brain is the most powerful weapon in their Arsenal, A tool that her 'friends' forgot to take away. Now, after many year's of imprisonment, she was ready to escape.

She watched, and waited, for the big Crack of thunder to go off. Focusing what was left of her energy, the moment the Thunder hit her Prison, She struck. The spell that imprisoned her broke, with no-one even knowing. She fell from the clouds, closing her eye's. Freedom......it was something she was going to take for all it was worth. She fell through the sky, watching as her Prison faded from view. She finally crashed down, with a thud, near Zeta and Omega. Rising from the Rubble, she stepped from her crash site, and looked at the city in front of her. Zeta and Omega would feel the Power of Old emanating from this demon. High Demons rarely ever cloaked their power.

She then began walking towards the biggest power signature she could sense : The Meeting place with all the Clan leader's. She was going to find the leader of her Clan, and begin her Crusade for knowledge again. Once she knew enough, she would take revenge on those that imprisoned her so many year's ago. Knowledge was Power, and this power was going to be used as a Tool against her Oppressors.

While awaiting for Spiritus's response to Avaddon's reply about how he would be the one to step in if any of the Black Rose clan members had decided to attack Neveah, if they had ever ended up finding out that a half demon hunter was residing in the same area, he had kept shifting his attention around the room as he made sure to keep his senses all aware of his surroundings to make sure nothing had started between the clan members of any of the four clans with the lesser demons. Most of the chattering going on around the room was completely left to the side in Avaddon's own mind as he hadn't bothered to really snoop too much into other demons' conversations when none of it had to do with anyone that to do with the meeting for the time being. The one voice that had caught his attention the most right out of nowhere was when a female demon came up out of nowhere and began to sing her song.

Turning his head over his shoulder only slightly to see who was singing, Avaddon had ended up realizing it was none other then one of the sisters from the Draca family. Little was known about these sisters and their powers so when one of them had began to sing, nearly all of the lesser demons around the entire room had began to gain the confidence they felt as though they had lost before without realizing much that they had gained this confidence from the female demon that was singing. Even being leaders of the four clans, the four leaders were probably the ones that were nearly or at least close enough to control their own confidence from being too far pushed ahead just like how the lesser demons gained theirs.

Listening to the song she had sang throughout the entire time, it wasn't completely obvious to tell that the power of confidence that she gave everyone within the room was coming from her singing but as Avaddon focused on how she sang along with his attention continuous going from her to the lesser demons, he soon figured out quite easily that she indeed was the one creating it all. Indeed that was an interesting power she had there, such an ability seemed to be able to be used to both weaken and strengthen those around her with whatever she sang at least it depended upon the song she picked. By the time she had finished up her song, and he was still awaiting for a response from the Bloody Moon clan leader, Avaddon had taken the chance to give applause to the demon woman's singing.

It wasn't until after he had lowered his hands did the final power surge of yet another clan leader entering the room catch Avaddon's attention. The last of the clan leaders had finally arrived, the clan of Ravinca had now approached her way into the building and the meeting of the four clans could go underway. Once the last of the clan leaders had made her way into the room, it seemed Spiritus had decided to speak up on thanking the Black Rose clan leader once more as well as letting him know to get the meeting over with before bloodshed would start between the two clans of Ravinca and Bloody Moon.

Giving a light nod, Avaddon stood up from the seat at the table only to take his gaze upon Neveah who stood outside on the balcony. Raising a brow at the reason behind why she would get so far away fro the other demons, it hadn't been too difficult for him to realize that she was indeed worried about the fact that the other lesser demons would figure out who she really was. Not wasting much time to make his way over to the balcony area, Avaddon had stood right at the entrance to the balcony before slightly leaning against the doorway. "The last of the leaders are here...Come along, trust me. There will be much more space upstairs rather then staying down here. Again, I do apologize for having leave earlier." He stated before standing slightly to one side to allow her to walk back into the room first. Even though from what Spiritus had told him about how Neveah was a half demon and how she was here to kill her father, who just so happened to bee the leader of the Bloody Moon clan, she seemed rather kind from the chat the two of them shared earlier.

"I wouldn't think you'd still feel the need to apologize now to someone like me would you? That is what the notes were about weren't they?" She answered quiet enough only he would hear as he spoke to her and she turned towards him. It was fairly clear he could be leading her into a trap... but at the same time he didn't seem to be. His eyes were just as honest as before and it rather disturbed her. Still, his reaction and answer would show if she was correct in her assumption. If she was wrong he would dismiss it as referring to her being merely a lower ranked demon. She kept her eyes on his, her own as always unflinching and waiting for clarity.

Even as she did so, however, she briefly shuddered at the feeling suddenly waving through her head. Something old, something powerful had caught the bracelet's attention. The ancient holy bow, wielded by the priestess of her village, glowing through time since the first angel sung was suddenly very awake even as it hid in the bracelet form. Such a thing as to get it's attention like that had not occurred for some time and the thrill it created in the back of her head was almost painful. She reached up to touch her temple as she pushed away the feeling and slowly the bracelet calmed. Something had awoken, something that made both her inner demon and the holy bow's light tug at their chains.

"Still.... perhaps i should go." She muttered to herself as she stepped towards Avadon. She still didn't trust anyone, but with what she felt perhaps there was a good idea to speak to the demons after all... though if she had to rely on their help that was probably not a good sign. For now she would watch and play nice, it wouldn't do to make enemies with them now. There was something far greater waiting for them out there.
