My dad works here because his Chinese is better than his English so he's more comfortable here anyway, while my mom found a job she liked in the states so she stays there because she won't have to deal with the sexism and age discrimination here. :P

I think it's because the companies get to pay them less and they have the 'newer' knowledge that they learned fresh out of school while the old ones are more 'slippery' because of their experience and not many of them keep up with the times or something...

Rarely. I used to live with her for a few years, but after I moved back it's her that visits us instead, since it's cheaper to buy just one ticket rather than two (for myself and my dad).
