I forgot to buy modeling clay while I was at the store and that was the main thing I went for :oops:

It's too cold to go to the beach, it's not cold enough for snow (we never have snow in our area.. only the mountains), and I can't really draw xD

here's my entry. I tried to make a sandcastle using my little brothers sandbox, sadly it didnt turn out quite what I expected it too. D:

Did you know that origami boats rarely turn out to actually look like boats? I've tried about four different styles, and each one became a weird, oblong bowl. Their life expectancy is rather short, too, especially when you make a GI Joe sit inside on of them.

So my original plan had to be downsized a bit.


I give you the SS Knerd:

Little Mr Turtle decided it was a perfect summer day to go out sailing in his canoe, which he graciously named after me. Things were going great until he reached the very center of the sink - That's when the storm started brewing, churning the water all around him. These photos were taken mere minutes before Mr Turtle had to swim his way back to shore.

I'd really like to try to enter this, but only having until Friday makes it extremely hard. I don't have a pool so that automatically rules out one of the options. It's summer here and it doesn't snow here in the winter even, so that rules out another. I'm terrible at drawing, and the fact that that one only gives me one ticket and considers me to be lazy makes me not feel like putting in the effort when the other options give two tickets... The only thing I could possibly do is the sand castle, I live somewhat close to the beach but it's a bit of a drive and I can't just hop in the car and waste gas to go do that, I have to go when my family decides to, so that means convincing them to go there before Friday. x_x We were supposed to go today in fact, but plans got messed up. I'm trying to see if I can go tomorrow, but if not, it looks like the only other day I could go would be on Friday... So exactly how long do we have to submit these? Until what time (eastern time zone) Friday will I have to get all this done and post it here?

Well I am 1350 miles from the nearest beach. I live on top of a mountain. I was going to go out and try to make a dirt castle in my garden but really bad weather has decided I won't...so I did a little pixel picture with a sand castle. I worked on it for two days though!

*comes back still laughing a little evilly*
My plot to take over the world is almost complete...*coughs*

errr I mean I was able to find playdoh to make a castle out of and I found some pirates...now just need some boats, cannonballs and....*rambles on*

@Vicki It says in the front .. Basically, anything beach, summer, water, or even snow related will get you 2 tickets. However, any picture you submit must include a sign with your username in the picture! Otherwise, we have no proof you were actually there and we cannot award you the tickets.

So I'm sure you can find something to take a picture of ^_^;

Also I have another question.. do beachballs and rafts and stuff count? xDD :O
